I enjoyed the dancers on Carol's show, too. Was always in front of the tv to watch them on Thursday nights. When I watch this video I can see how hard they worked yet kept big smiles on their faces. Real troopers!

This was the finale from one of the Garry Moore Shows from around 1963 or so. If anyone has the finale when she and Garry's singers and dancers sang Rose of Washington Square, please post it. She closed his show with that number on two separate occasions. On two other of his shows, Dorothy sang an original number called My Crazy Sister Rose. I'd love to see that too.

Her dress is so fantastic. Do you think she made it herself? She was too good for that dress.

No. There are professional costume designers/seamstresses on these productions.

I remember her main partner from the Carol Burnett Show. I always had a crush on him.

That's Don Chrichton, who (I think) is still with us. He started showing up in the early '50s as a VERY young man, and could do anything.
