Definitely my nexXt helmet. Love that shiny version very much. Good choice! Not so sure about the matte version. Will be a tough decision after seeing the one you love most. Very impressive how much work goes into your safety.
Just ordered the Nexx X Wed.3 over the Shoei and Arai... And I have been an Arai guy for decades. Really looking forward to the quality of this helmet, and they offered 3XL size for those of us that are a little more well endowed in the cranium department. (Big ass head) 😂
The music in this video is absurdly loud compared to the people speaking. Each time the music plays my ears begin to hurt and each time people talk I can barely hear them. It seems like no one leveled the audio in this video before exporting.
Charley, I'm on the look for a new adventure helmet and was wondering how the visor is performing in windy and raining conditions. At the moment I ride with a KLIM Krios Pro helmet; a great and lightweight helmet with a worthless air- and watertight visor (adjusting the pads did not solve it either). since you have taken it out on your bike, can you please share your thoughts and more specific on the visor performance? - that would be awsum. Always amazing to see the process of making the helmets - I just wish the sound wasn't so loud for the music vs the talking parts... Mixing needs some work!
I did a review on this helmet. Absolutely NOT worth the money. It’s fallen apart literally. The park extension fell off on the highway. The mouth piece fell out. The liners snaps are falling apart. The air vents are dummy vents on the top. Watch my honest review.
I just ordered a X.Vilijord Carbon from Nexx USA. Only time will tell if it’s money we’ll spent.. I’m a little concerned that it only has a 2-Year Warranty on a $799 helmet.
Ich habe den Wed 3 pro Carbon seit paar Monaten, und ich würde es mir nie mehr kaufen. Die Inneren Schrauben beim Kinnfilter sind einfach rausgefallen, da würde anscheinend die Gewinde überdreht. Die Schraube für Kinn Kqmeramontage dreht sich einfach durch. Jetz will die Sonnenblende einfach nicht runter,auf einer Seite hat sich etwas ausgehängt.Also nur Probleme mit dem Helm und das nach nur 5 Monaten.
Sorry Charlie, but my Nexx X Vilijord ADV helmet is the worst helmet I've ever bought: only the 8th model was dent-free. The Nexx XCOM2 communication often failed and this year in Morocco the sun visor broke at the lock after just one year. Never again Nexx. But still interesting video.
Just bought myself a X.WED3 although only the Trailmania version. It was great to see the processes that go into the making of this beautiful helmet and entertaining to see Charley giving it a try 🙂
nice upload my only complaint is how loud the music suddenly become compared to the voice. watching this on my tv in the middle of the night had me jumping to turn volume down a couple of times in order not to wake up my neighbours :D
Really interesting, informative and inspiring video Charley. For close on twenty years I've been wearing Arai helmets & Nexx has never even been on my radar. They are now & I'm in need of a new helmet soon so I'll definitely go give them a look.
Had xd1 but had a few issues with emergency cheek pads waited until now to get this one and oh my what an improvement it’s a complete new helmet my top one so far and I had a few so far
