I’m crossing my fingers that as Charley gets more exposure, they might start playing him on the radio. Then people might even start emulating his sound/style. He might bring quality back to the whole genre!
As a not very famous singer and guitar player, I love hearing comments like that from people from the bottom of my heart. It's what keeps me standing behind the guitar and singing songs.
Two sick artists keeping an ear out for 👂 the Black Keys have one coming out next month too. Not exactly the genre but in a similar sense lately with hints of country recent releases.sure to be a solid month 🎶 !

I grew up listening to my mom and dad s records, Faron Young, Porter Wagoner, George Jones, Del Reeves, Stonewall Jackson and so many others, watched Hee Haw, watched The Grand Ole Opry reruns on PBS. We have waited a long time for the real country and when Charley puts out a new song we get it, every time.

The king! 👑 dude is one of the only musicians that holds true to those old school roots.. doing it yourself with no big record label behind him forcing him to change his look and style.. He is country music like the late 60s and 70s country the nitty gritty country that’s the tough country the raw country it’s really a good sound. He has a place in country music right next Chris Stapleton different sound but just as good
