As a Charlie Clips fan. I got A-ward 2-1. Charlie was Charlyin 😂, you gotta appreciate it man. He’s at a point where he’s graduated from writing ✍️ and still get booked and payed. All respect to both and A-ward for making Charlie go in that bag round 2. Loved this battle.

Damn Award Lost the second round to a freestyle

Bro Charlie is an evil genius. I’m 90% sure the mid round free styles were basically planned pre-buttals to A Ward predicting bars, which he does all the time. A Ward mouths his opponents bars and tries to think out loud of what his opening round rebuttal is going to be. So when he was mumbling “Apollo”, Clips predicted he’d predict Apollo and used “Drago”, which basically killed A Ward’s rebuttal options. You’ll notice the 76ers rebuttal was trash by A Ward’s standards, because Clips “free styles” got him shook. Then the mid round baseball freestyle where Clips was basically responding to A Ward talking during his round was probably pre-written…Ward wasn’t really talking (he usually does a little, so Clips predicted he would), but no one in the crowd could really tell whether he was or wasn’t. Clips is one of the greatest free stylers ever, but I think Ward might actually be better, but Clips knew the way to neutralize him was to take the free style advantage away. Brilliant. 2-1, maybe 3-0 Clips
