Absolutely true Wendi never wanted to be married. She never wanted to have children. She wanted to have a career. She wanted to have many many men. This was all Donna’s idea.

i'm a retired RN.. believe me i started looking at my patients and my staff in derogatory manner. i realized it was time to resign. burnt out and every time they said "admission coming " i cringed bc " i saw it as 4-5 hrs of charting, not that they were sick. so now i trade stocks for a living and love it.

Complicit? The minute WA "broke" her tv (divorce present) PLUS read Donna's emails about let "Donna" know if DATE needs to be changed. If WA needs to reschedule "the alibi date" for any reason ... call this number; or Donna can. BOTH trip/hit dates around JL's out of town schedules. (And, type vehicles used/rented often. And, parked.) There was a June and July trip/attempt. Can't wait for hitmen to give multiple dates of trips. And, JL to potentially remember (recall) the tv wasn't "broken" yet for either the June or the July trip... when Donna is actively texting about tv repair appointment dates. 💥 (And, appointment originating from Miami. Exact date scheduled.) Save the best for last ... GC knows (or finding out) these dates. Hinted in first trial and last ... that SHE knows.; or will soon. And, WA replied... she "couldn't remember" who or where or when scheduled exactly ... when instructed not to lie on the stand. Or, perhaps 2 "broken" tv's and JL WASNT allowed to see or hook up bedroom tv ... for sudden movie night. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Justice For Dan ...

Maybe she will also have to deal with dodging the Latin Kings?

I guess 2 weeks after the bump, they calmed down and continued living life as usual. Sigfredo was arrested May 25th.

I wonder as parents if they reflect on what they brought their children to because it was all the decisions along the way that built their character; through direct example, what they did and didn't allow, etc. It really is a massive fail as parents.

There's a call between Charlie and Donna where she talks about what a great mother she's been, "very attentive," & Charlie agrees. These people are unable to be introspective.

@stevew1487 that reminds me of what the oldest brother said in the Wondery podcast. The parents seemed to encourage them to be sneaky and pull one over other people.

@@aalegalfocus I hadn't heard that, but that's very much the impression that I've gathered, particularly with Charlie. With Wendi I see more of a kind of insular protection, never requiring anything of her, not even accountability. Both approaches are over indulgent and teach that taking is better than giving. That's the impression I get anyway. BTW thanks for keeping interest in the case alive until the trial. That will be very interesting, and I hope Wendi is next.

He doesn't get unlimited calls in prison. While he was in jail it was pre-trial so he was legally innocent and was allowed unlimited calls. Now that he's State property, his time is no longer his own.

Lying to the police. What kind of upbringing did he have?

Yes, I found out about an hour after making the video.

There was another call between Charlie and Donna, where Charlie was griping that Wendi didn't understand her low value on the dating market. He said something like, "I'm in the demographics of who she wants to date" & he would not want someone her age, with kids who could be farting in his face & making it a hassle to get away for the weekend. Iirc, Wendi wasn't that attracted to the guy, so he probably sensed that too.

Agreed. Mumbly, almost sexy voice. The tone Wendi had in the wiretapped call with Charlie also sounded strangely flirtatious.

They were moonstruck that a rich man actually wanted her.

This was after the bump, so they heard the distant rumbling of the approaching train. The arrests started soon after, with Katie finally arrested in October. The sound of the train got much louder, even though it was still several years away. But I really think the bump was the end of them being assured they'd gotten away with it.

I have Mexican American relatives who never travel there anymore, due to safety concerns. Plus, Wendi could still be extradited from there, so maybe she should try running to Vietnam?

Not sure-- they seem like delusional psychopaths who don't feel remorse & will never admit they did anything wrong. Harvey seemed to have a twinge of remorse/sadness though, based on what Dan's friends said about his behavior.
