Their arguments are basically "You're rich, therefore you're evil. Doesn't matter what you do, it must be evil". Then you have that pregnant lady who basically blame MrBeast for whatever other people does with them only connection between her boss and MrBeast is that they have more money than her. Seriously, what is wrong with these people?

A good deed, even done for a selfish reason, is still a good deed. (I don't think Mr. Beast did it for a selfish reason, and I don't care if he did).

It's actually Ayn Rand's Objectivism in it's positive application, what Charlie says, which I found out just recently, quite fascinating tbh. As it is easier to be moral if you benefit along side. The bottom line is Mr. Beast is using HIS own money to cure people. Rich people are always donating to charity for decades but I don't see anyone posting negative things about that. Mr. Beast is basically just donating money, he's not even the one who's performing the procedure. The argument that he's growing his brand because of this is stupid in itself. Majority of organizations and individuals who donate make a big deal about it through social media resulting in 'bettering their brand'.

These people who're complaining are mostly just angry that they didn't get a cut of the charity. Just because some have managed to get themselves out of debt, doesn't mean everyone else can the same way. Unfortunately, it's a case-by-case basis for a lot of things that need to be fixed.

You know I bet there's a whole host of normal people that use the internet daily but don't actively go on Twitter, so they probably have no idea about the Mr. Beast debacle, and I bet that these kind of people would fine the whole thing so stupid.

MrBeast’s video about treating Blindness hit very close to home for me because my Eyesight has been declining for the last few years, and I’m in my early twenties! His video gives me hope for my future because I am genuinely scared that I’m gonna be near completely blind by the time I’m 30 (hell my Eyesight is already so bad I might have to file for disability in a few years).

"How dare MrBeast have a lot of money and donating to people. Everyone should be equally poor except me!" This is all I'm seeing from people complaining.

Good deeds out of selfish reasons is still better than no good deeds at all. If MrBeast getting sponsership is all it took to end cancer, then by all means get him that sponsership. It's mutually beneficial long as he keeps providing what should have been natural rights to us for free. It's criminal he has to pay for these surgery, but that's not his doing to begin with.

In the end the twitter outrage is a good thing. Almost everyone is on mrbeast's side in this story. But what the vocal minority managed to do is bring a much greater amount of attention to the situation and to mrbeast than would have otherwise been the case. Not only benefiting mrbeast and his channel, but also the awareness for issues like curable blindess. Thanks twitter.

I can't believe people have a problem with crowdsourcing charity. It's not even like he's taking the money from the general population. He is taking the money from Google. From adsense. It gets there from advertising companies. Not the people. All the people are giving him is time. Which he uses to help people, which makes more people watch him help people, as he manages to make it entertaining. This is a brilliant business model. A charity that only gets bigger the longer it keeps rolling.

I can never take people who sit and complain about rich people seriously. For one, they never show proof that they're struggling and have looked for help and not received it (not that it's super necessary, but if you're whining that much... come on). But also, I've seen it happen that so many "influencers" when they finally get money of their own, all of a sudden they stop complaining about rich people. Funny how that works. 🤔

At the end of the day, whether you don't know what's going on twitter like Charlie, or do know like Hero Hei, the only thing that matters is that what Charlie says applies to all situations. Even if he's evil, if he's doing a good thing, there's nothing to complain about. The people can control the influencer if they were all smart enough; educated. If the evil person tries to sell something that's harmful to the environment, as long as people don't buy it, they'lll have to change their product. If they sell something that's good to the environment and everyone buys it then, then guess what? The evil person just got played. In the case of youtubers, if someone desecrates a cemetary for their youtube video, it can't be helped if it gets a lot of views, but if it doesn't, good. However, if it does, everybody can just report it and it'll be taken down. Now all that hard work they did wasn't worth it. But if they then see that cat videos are really popular, if they make a good cat video and it does well, they will lean more into making nicer things. If they make something suspicious like a bunch of cat videos being saved from suffering in some manner though, someone can catch on. Why are there so many cats drowning in your videos? Like, cool, you saved them, but what if you were the one that put them there in the first place? Once the internet finds that out, they'll get cancelled. All-in-all, as long as the people are educated, evil people can't prevail. They may last a long time, but not forever. But we're not there yet. People like Jake Paul and Logan Paul are still around. Didn't one of them scammed their own viewers with cryptocurrency or something? idk, all I know is I'll never forgive Logan Paul for how he treated Japan.

I think for me at least, I've always known that Mr. Beast makes a somewhat net positive from his videos and challenges. But that's the point of it. To make a net positive to plan a bigger event to help more people or at least improve their lives. I think from the twitter crowd the anger and animosity towards Mr. Beast is more in the factor that he is changing the status quo of the 'Rich person' and instead of being another Logan Paul He is instead shaking the boat and trying to make the world just a little bit better 1 person at a time.

Would it be even enough to help them? I had the same reaction when a friend of mine told me about this. Sure he could be making money off of this and yeah he’s going to probably grow because of it but he literally changed those peoples lives. Imagine being able to clearly see the face of your mother, your child, your lover for the first time. Honestly, I'm a professional fundraiser and mr. Beast is great for increasing philanthropy at every level. He's making philanthropy a major talking point again, making it easier to talk to and close support deals from folks of all walks of life ranging from millionaires to middle class folks alike. Nonprofits only exist because of support from major figures like Mr. Beast inspiring everyday people like myself to give what we can for the greater good. These mega millionaires aren't what keeps the work moving forward, it's a collective effort of everyone and honestly shame on these cry babies who are upset that one man took it upon himself to embrace philanthropy and help others.

I wouldn't care if MrBeast, Mother Teresa, Elon Musk or Andrew Tate is doing this. 1000 people benefit from it, and that's the only thing that matters. They gain a reputation from this kind of act? Performative much? As long as there is an actual result that benefits people, let them have it. They will still get hate if they are a bad guy, company, or organization.

I remember seeing a few of his videos when he was doing charitable stuff at around 150k and it's good to see he still does this. I also remember seeing him do shopping challenges with his friends in between then and now which I thought was not so charitable.
