First a rebuttal of your first statement( just for the record your first statement is an OPINION and not fact and you should state as much) with evidence and argument to back it up followed by a response to your question In my opinion America is egalitarian enough to vote in a black woman because neither of those qualities have anything to do with who you vote for. Furthermore voting for someone for reasons as shallow as race or gender is idiotic. Don't you think ideology and political policies should be your reason for voting in a politician? People vote for the ones whose policies suit them best, Democrats didn't vote for Sarah Palin did they? Plus Hillary Clinton was possibly the worst candidate in US history with her endless corruption scandals and vile personality. It has nothing to do with progressiveness in the way you'd define it ( the greatest oxymoron since trans lesbian) and everything to do with statistics and evolutionary biology. There are less women candidates for the job for the same reasons that there are less women execs, that being that to get to that position you basically have to be a workaholic and willing to sacrifice everything family, friends and free time to just focus on getting to the top. The majority of people like this are men, for evolutionary reasons that are too in depth to go into here but can be simply stated as males always competed against each other for reproductive rights (and by that I mean the chance to mate) which led to males being more competitive and aggressive, traits needed for such ambitions. Most women ( and men for that matter) are far more sensible and choose to lead a more balanced life with children and social circles. Because there are less women candidates and even fewer back women candidates as blacks are 13 percent of the population and so one would expect the chances of a black woman being elected are far slimmer considering the overall number of people vying for the job. Most will be male for previously mentioned reasons, most will be white again for previously mentioned reasons and so the most likely person will be a white male. Not because he's a white male because that has nothing to do with it ( Obama was voted in twice with a huge white vote) but because statistically that is the most likely outcome each time. As to the second part of your question, you simply need to look at how well the US economy was going under President Trump prior to the Chinese Corona virus pandemic. The fact that he's a businessman and not a politician means he's used to actually having to get things done in a timely manner. The fact that he was successful as a real estate developer in New York shows he can swim with the big sharks and is used to deadlines and budgets. I'd further suggest that as a businessman he has a firm understanding of how to encourage business growth in the US as he's dealt with this bureaucratic environment his entire career. Considering all the successes he's had in his career, including winning the Presidency as a complete outsider, you have to admit that he's smart, as they can't all be blamed on luck or corruption.It also shows he's also a very shrewd businessman. I'd suggest that corporate meetings at his level between companies negotiating multi-million dollar deals would be just as complicated and possibly more cut-throat than some diplomatic meetings ( most of which are really only photo ops). All the reasons listed above plus his lifetime of experience consolidating a multi-billion dollar empire are reasons I think he will continue to be good for the US economy.

I like Kanye, but I call BS on the Taylor Swift incident. She was new in the business and won an award. Right in the middle of it, Kanye interrupts and basically said that Beyoncé deserved the award. There was plenty of time afterwards, via the talk show circuit and elsewhere, for him to voice his opinion. It's not up to Candace Owens or Kanye West to decide who wins an award on the night it's delivered. As far as comparing Kanye with Donald Trump, again I call BS. Trump is a counter puncher. My uncle, who has now passed, fought in the Korean war with the British army, he came back with what looked like a few screws missing to folk who didn't know him n what he went through, stories were horrific, he never talked about it but my dad told me that they ran out of ammunition n had to use their shovels/spades as weapons and North Korean heads being lopped off with those spades, it was actually the taking of lufe with his spade that did something to him, his mind was never the same. Thank you for relating your uncle’s story about the spades. Never heard of that happening big but most experiences were kept in memories not related. That had to be a frightening experience to be involved in. 2 uncles by marriage didn’t return. My aunt dreamed she was in a tailspin falling into the ocean. She was very upset. The word came that her husband was a tail gunner and his plane was kamikazied(sp) into 2 pieces and his back end of the plane did fall away. He was lost in the ocean.
