When I vote for a person to hold office, I take in consideration the ability to successfully hold the position, not what they do in their personal life. As a Christian, I don't agree with everything a person does in or out of their bedroom, it's not my place to judge them for that. They will answer to God for that. He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone. I will judge a person on what and how he does a job he was elected to do. That is something I feel I should do. I do not know personally any of these politicians and most people do not. We only have information given to us by all sources of information. It is up to each of us to determine truth versus lies. Period!

As someone who has lived in Washington my entire life, Charlie is absolutely right. My red vote doesn’t count here, which is a shame because most of central/eastern WA votes red. It’s Seattle, Tacoma, and King county that has one of highest concentration of liberals in the nation, and they are ultimately the deciding factor. Oregon has the same problem.
I live in Commiefornia. I feel your pain about your Red vote not counting. But I STILL vote in every election because percentages are looked at/analyzed. Let's say 20% of a given area voted Red ten years ago, but now 35% of that area is voting Red. It's not the majority, BUT politicians, especially local ones, will begin to take notice of this trend. That can help shape policy. I know it's tough. But remember, at one point in U. S. history, the abolition of slavery and women's right to vote were "minority" causes.
