My dad was born in Duluth, which is also where that side of my family tree is rooted. Why my grandparents moved to central Wisconsin will forever remain a mystery. This song, however has beautiful imagery accompanied by thoughtful sentiment.

Who ever said that a dog has no soul, how would they know, who said it's so? God told Moses you can't see my face but when i pass by you'll catch a glimpse of me from behind. He saw God was a Dog and called him Man's best friend. You think I'm wrong and swear it couldn't be that way a Dog has no soul is what you always say. Well you don't speak for God and you don't speak for Dog you don't even know your dead anyway....
