Funeral for my Dad today. I was searching.. & I found what I needed here. I heard your voice & was so comforted. My Dad was a Methodist Minister in Central Illinois married 68yrs. But I know some things that were not free for him to publicize...Pete Seeger was his favorite! I didn't know as a teenager ..I just didn't understand. (Appreciate) How lucky I was/am. There were 15+ people today giving testimony of his love for every person he met. It was his constant smile & TRUE belief in a better day. Don Quixote with my mother for 68 yrs....I've given up trying to understand. It's too beautiful & heartbreaking.

One of the most underrated artists of our time

I had the honour to be the tour manager for Charlie on his Irish tour a couple of years back. He's great company and I loved every minute of it - and ah, to see him play every night too -what a BONUS!!!!!

Charlie was just "the band" at my grandaughter's baptism, 1st United Church of Christ, Northfield, MN. Yesterday, March 15, 2015. A gift!

I just discovered him. Wow! How does such a talented artist go under the radar? A true treasure!

wow. went to Seattle due to work, 30th birthday had to do something right - stumbled across this guy at a bar. woaaah! 10/10 man Charlie Parr you are phenomenal.

I had William Elliot Whitmore playing in the background while doing homework, and this came on via autoplay. Within 30 seconds of the music starting, I stopped homework, and for the past half hour I've just been sitting here absorbing how incredible this guy is. So much talent.

Seen him 3 times now, twice in Hancock, Michigan and again in Denver, Colorado. Heading back to Denver next weekend to see him again.

A beloved Duluth Minnesota artist. Whenever he plays it's packed. I've seen him dozens of times and I've only paid once for the trampled by turtles 2018 show at bayfront. Charlie is a true gift to duluthians. Just saw him on the peer at Glensheen 3 weeks ago from a canoe in Lake superior. Another beautiful free 2 hour concert.

Saw this guy a couple of weeks ago at The Ryman. Flash guitar player (and a cool washboard guy too), but unfortunately we could hardly follow the performance because the crowd was so rude. Talked and paid no attention through the whole performance. Maybe its a millennial thing in Nashville, but still, the rudest concert crowd I've ever seen.
