Kelly (Jaclyn Smith) wakes up from a coma and the Angels (Cheryl Ladd and Tanya Roberts) are visited by Charlie for the first time in the series finale.
From Season 5, Episode 16 'Let Our Angel Live' - Kelly is shot at point blank by a suspect she had been watching during a stakeout. A very emotional Bosley, Kris and Julie spend the night at the hospital reminiscing about past cases while Kelly's life hangs in the balance.

It was so wonderful that Charlie Townsend was there. I knew that he would be there because one of his Angels was hurt.

It was so cool that Bosley and Charlie nodded to each other and Bosley never gave away that it was him in the green scrubs (although you would think the gold necklace gave it away). If you’re unfamiliar with the show Charlie was never seen only heard through a speaker but when one of the girls got hurt with a life threatening situation he personally stayed in the operating room until she was stabilized, showed he genuinely cared for them, really cool scene.

This scene was repeated in ''Charlie Angels 2019"" movie when Kelly greeted new recruit Elena into the Agency. Of course Elena didn't know that Kelly is the new Charlie, who took over the Agency when the original Charlie passed away some time earlier (RIP John Forsythe).

I don't think the actresses/former Angels would've made an appearance in the finale Farrah fulfilled her obligation with Aaron and moved on Kate moved on and focused in other projects Shelley? Well she was let go, and focused on another project in a play

I've seen every episode of Charlie's Angels in seasons one through four, most of them multiple times. However, I've only seen about 6 or 7 episodes of the final season. Need to finish watching it. This series was a piece of my childhood. Was such a good show.

@@johndean4727 She brought a very different dynamic and her character had a completely different background that did not gel with the other angels’ training, experience or style. I prefer seasons 1-4 but did make sure to see this finale.

Tanya Roberts was fine, its the S5 eps that are not good; some are painful to watch! The show eas running on fumes by then. They should have ended with S3 or 4.

It's strange how the female characters in comas are always perfectly made up, even when the entire head is covered in bandages and the bandage is unravelled they still have perfect hair and perfect make up! When I was in hospital I looked like an old witch after coming out of surgery!

The only thing that they've forgotten to bring in was Sabrina, Jill and Tiffany exspecaily when they've heard that Kelly's seriously injured and is in hospital fighting for her life if the writers could bring in Charlie why couldn't they bring back to other angles that lefted I've for sure that they would Chris and Bosley needed them at time of need I'm happy that Kelly didn't die maybe the writers asked them to come back and they each declined but if Jill came back to visit Chris and Kelly why couldn't Sabrina comeback and Tiffany came back only onetime. RIP Tanya Roberts she was a good Angel. I love her as Julie Roberts she will be missed

The writers can’t just conjure up the characters. The actresses would have to be asked and would have to agree and also have fees to negotiate. The show was in it’s last season and ratings were down and ABC probably wouldn’t budget for it and the actresses were probably off doing other things. In fact they were all pretty busy around this time after leaving the show.

This was the first time in any medium I saw someone shot in the head which happens to her in the beginning of this episode it bothered me for many years and never watched this episode again. I was a little kid but it was a rude awakening to the violence that would become common on TV. Last time I tried to watch a TV crime drama a child murder had packaged a child's dead body in a box like a doll I can't watch that shit sorry.

You I always wondered about Charlie in the show we know he was their boss but I think he kept his identity secret because he was really related to one of them or he was Robin Masters in Magnum you know there's a clue that these two shows were mostly set in the same universe I believe though Magnum was set a little later? And there's a chance there might be a crossover series one which this secret gets revealed but of course Magnum was set in Five O universe anyway so is NCIS so maybe the Angels be part of it to from the original to today just think there's other detective show that are connected through some odd plots?
