Charlie Simpson Reacts To Busted, Fightstar & Recalls Craziest After Parties 

Unfortunately their last tour they had to fund themselves as the band didn't make much money

@@Earl1403 they're playing in Wembley Arena in March 2024. One off gig. Though they are apparently going back to the studio for more releases. There's still some seats available.

Yeah I kinda lowkey agree, he seems like a super sweet, cool dude and I kinda really fancy him. I definitely did in the busted says but even now I'm like Yeah you know what, Charlie is fucking great I'm actually super in love with him 😂

I'm not surprised. You listen to the lyrics and music of the first two albums and it's so painful even for at the age Charlie was at the time. No wonder he wanted out and formed Fightstar

I actually got the opposite impression, I think with retrospective he is actually proud of his association with Busted now more then he was when he was younger because with age and wisdom he acknowledges how young and impressionable they were, the songs and cheeky and humorous and quite corny but ultimately very catchy and alot of fun. Blink-182 wrote cheesy Pop-Punk songs too but they are talented musicians and so are Busted.

He’s not throwing anything away! Obviously the Fightstar boys can’t do it right know! But they will be back! All Charlie’s music is good not matter if it’s in a band or two or solo! It’s all good!

@@danielthompson2708 I love his solo stuff, I was more than happy with that in between the Fightstar stuff. The Busted reunion was just puzzling. Hard not to see it as an easy pay day and, hey, we all need money, especially with a young family. I just think he has an amazing back catalogue with Fightstar and the solo stuff, so why not stick at it 👍

@@deadkennedyrolls21 if you think it’s just an easy pay day then you haven’t a clue 😂 do you realise the amount of money is put into the band, for tours/arena rental, studio rental, merch the lot? Cause they are independent , all money made goes into future projects, tours! If it’s an easy pay day , why would they stop for 4 or 5 years? Charlie has an amazing back catalogue with busted Fightstar and solo, 3 completely different styles of music! He’s defo sticking at it! He can do all three! Plus it’s 20 year busted anniversary, only right for them to celebrate it, Fightstar will probs do the same too

He gets paid more for paying Wembley Arena with Fightstar than he does playing a Guildhall with Fightstar, even with overheads. You are clearly a hardcore Busted fan so let's leave it at that. You're incapable of criticising him at all, which means you're a fan boy. That's ok. I was there in the early days of Fightstar when Charlie played very hostile metal crowds. It took a long time for him to gain respect and be taken seriously. You can't go from something like that back to Busted and expect people not to be suspicious. That's all I'll say, as I've better things to do with my time than argue with a rose tinted Busted fan boy.

@@deadkennedyrolls21 im not rude at all , but apologies if you think that! It’s obvious you will get paid more at Wembley as it’s alot bigger , cost more to rent it too for a night! Big Charlie Simpson fan so I know a lot of what’s happened with him at the start of Fightstar! Besides BTDB is one of the best albums I’ve listened too! Defo in my top 3, the older I got the heavier my music preference has become! People can be suspicious about anything, doesnt mean it’s true! If it’s all about money Charlie would have done mcbusted, but he stuck to his solo instead! The rest is history!
