Charlize Theron is a South-African-born model who went on to become one of Hollywood’s biggest stars. Growing up in the city of Johannesburg, Charlize spent time as a child on her parent’s farm before attending the National School of the Arts. Then, after winning a local modeling competition, she was selected to travel to Milan, Italy, on a one-year contract at the age of just 16. Eventually, she found herself in New York City, training to become a dancer, but a knee injury would force her to cut that dream short. Looking for a new goal to pursue, she moved to Los Angeles in 1994. Success didn’t find her immediately, but one day while at a bank, cashing a check her mother had sent to her to help with rent, Charlize was discovered by a talent agent. Within eight months, she had landed a non-speaking part in the Stephen King adaptation, “Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest”.

When I met Charlise, we had a brief chat and I could not believe how sweet she is. But what is really unique about her is, when she plays a character, she truely is that character. Faultless and perfect in every ways. On screen, you do not see Charlise, you see who ever she plays. Unbelievably great actress who put all other to shame !

Hey Kara, Charlize is such a top Tier actress. Understood Charlize wants to keep her home safe and secure. Now, I liiiiiike the penthouse. Spacious, stellar view and stylish. Shout out those s t a i r s! Charlize truly has an eye for real estate. Good for you Charlize! You know who you are and you ain't never gotta deal with no one's "s_it". Used to house sit in the Hollywood hills. Many were haunted. Be sitting and watching a movie or reading and soon, I would hear a light "Ping". Looked up to the lamp where it came from and nothing was there. The second lamp joined in. LOL Nothing ugly. Was fun.

the part where Charlize suffered through break ins and trespasses is sad. I love Charlize as an incredibly talented entertainer too. I have been her fan for 27 years, have all 51 of her movies that are available on DVD, and I actively support her nonprofit CTAOP (Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project). However, she is a person who needs her privacy respected, like anyone else. It's also sad to see her getting hounded at airports by people claiming to be fans, asking for autographs, only to turn around and sell them online for high prices. Charlize does not want people taking advantage of her. She also gets hit hard online by scammers pretending to be her, while phishing for peoples' information. Facebook is particularly bad, and she isn't even on there. She may quickly post on Instagram, or Twitter, then leave. She is a private, and individual person, who wants people to respect her as a person.
