I’ve been taking care of some of these expensive horses, like a son of Painted Black and a grandson of Totilas, and sadly they’re trained to perform but they don’t know how to behave in hand. A horse so reliable that he can be trusted to carry young children is a very rare find. Although the children appear to be experienced young riders; a 12.2 pony and a 16.2 Warmblood are 2 very different animals.

Hello CHARLOTTE! I've followed you and Valegro for a long time and now your lovely and amazing mare. You've brought my tears many a time because of you and the horse's most breathtaking moments. But this time it's Valegro in retirement looking and moving as glorious as always with children no less! Bringing moments to their lives they will never forget but not until they're older to realize a one of a kind golden moment on the back of a one of a kind champion of all time! Such a special thing for you to do and share Charlotte. I always knew though your heart would surely be as huge as your talent! After all your mind and emotions combined with that talent create the most wonderful connection and relationship with your horses that trust you and want to work hard for you and please you to be their half of your team! The passion and love that lives in your heart for your sport and horses in general all together make you the champion that you are and a shining example that dreams can come true... Thank you for my tears and thanks so much for sharing this vid and once again a glimpse of Valegro.

Just now seeing this for the first time, but I know I will watch it many more. Gives me a great big smile. The kindness and generosity of both Valegro and Charlotte are wonderful. They still work beautifully together, this time with small children.

Horses at Valegro level are very rare. Truly intelligent and talented. He knew he had special cargo on board. So wonderful to see the generosity and kindness of both Charlotte and Valegro.

What a wonderful gift,to be able to ride Valegro! Precious memories indeed.He was so good with the kids,as was Charlotte.I'm envious,but don't begrudge them one bit.Perhaps they'll be inspired to take up dressage one day.Or just enjoy riding for many years to come.
This is amazing! Someday those little girls will really appreciate the magic of this moment, spent with not only Valegro but with Charlotte as well. It's how I've imagined having such an opportunity with a horse named Secretariat and his rider Ron Turcotte would have been like.
Id give anything to rude valegro as everyone at my yard thinks im stupid as I dont have a fancy horse like them it just shows how gentle hevis that he can be ridden by to young children and an elderly lady who hacks him out from zoe in England I.o.w
It’s so rare to see a horse that is trained to his level, be able to ride with kids and stuff. These horses are normally very sensitive to aids!!! Amazing
Valegro has only had two homes in his life;0-2 years old he was in the Netherlands. From 2 years old -present, he has been with Carl and Charlotte receiving top quality care, feeding and training. This is the reason for his amenable temperament. A horse of the same age that had been re-homed 5-6 times, neglected even once is likely not to be so reliable. Neglected animals often only recover to a point. There will be physical, psychological or behavioural baggage. Because of this, welfare organisations only allow experienced carers to re-home their horses.
@@lisabadger3399 I'm just seeing how a company is using an event of goodwill to market a product. So you have to ask yourself what the aim of this exercise was. Please don't use an organisation like the Taliban in your comment. Don't belittle the people who suffer at the hands of a terrorist organisation because you can't take the time to formulate a question properly.
This was a photo shoot. The kids are models. However, they started thinking they were simply going to take pictures decked in gear with Valegro. Charlotte was willing to go further and shoot a video of a schooling session.
Marketing a product that may save lives on the road- yes please what a great gesture of goodwill. I ride with neon safety products, and tip my hat to this company. Perhaps I will buy from them and fondly think of Valegro in the same gear!!
