You have also been a great role model for our swedish girls. So we will win medals in future championships for atleast the next 30 years. I've watched it a couple of times and focused on Frida and Ebba in the replays. I can't see any slowing down from their side. What i can see is a much better acceleration from Charlotte the last meters. I would also say that Frida and Ebba has a bit of a (known?) problem holding the speed the last 5 meters to the goal line. They stop before the goal line and Charlotte stops after the goal line. That's one of the things that make her a legend.
@@perplex6581 I'm swedish and watched the races and interviews and you're right they didn't allow her to win, Kalla won because she was the best that day. I think Ebba mentioned in an interview after she won the 30k that she hadn't been happy at third place. Both Ebba and Frida were super happy for Kalla though.
No, Not really. It was hot, the snow was almost melting. Therefore the snow on the two inner tracks was soft and muddy. That's why Charlotte had it a tiny bit easier at the end. (They made several laps on that track, almost nobody skated on the track Charlotte took in the end.) A smart move on her part, right?! (Going for the harder track.) Believe me. Frida gave it her all. (The problem?!) The harder you try in muddy snow the slower it gets.
