What an amazing journal you have created! Your love for the book shines through in every beautiful detail. I absolutely fell in love with your journal!
This journal is so beautiful and full of wonderful goodies. This is one of my favourite books too. I love everything that you added to make this book look amazing. ❤
So adorable! My 4 kids all loved this book..He was SOME PIG! They always loved saying things taken from this book for days afterwards. The mason jars are perfect for this project and you did a wonderful job! I still have that old book, I may need to create in it now!! Thanks soo much!
That's exactly what this was for me as well - a walk down memory lane. I'm glad it touched someone's heart the same way it did mine. That is the best compliment I could ask for.
Oh my, this is just incredible!! So many little tiny details, beautiful workmanship 🥰 I wish I could do this some day, you are very talented. This was the book that got me into reading as a child. Thank you for sharing this wonderful tribute it E B White.
Thank you so very much, Maryann!!! This was also my very first book that I read through with my mom when I was a child. I'm glad we share the same nostalgia for this treasure. 🩷 Thank you for your beautiful compliment!
This book is so special to me. What u have done is Amazing! If I could. I’d buy it. No position now. But, I worked in Special Ed for 17 years. One of my blind students would Read this to Me,, I just Love the story. Also touches my heart thinking of my Girl who read it to Me. (She had a copy in braille)
I want to thank you for sharing that with me. That touches my heart. I teach high school ELA, so I know how valuable that memory is. Makes me tear up just thinking of how special that must have been.
@@shabbychicsundae Yes. It is special moments. The only thing I didn’t see in the journal was templeton. The Rat. I just love the character in tv version Paul Lynd voice. (No I don’t like rats in real life. Lol) He is just funny always wanting to eat. U did Great!
@@jbresslin fear not! He's in there! I have the photo of him patting his stuffed belly after eating too much, and I have the part of the story where Charlotte asks him to find newspaper clippings. I was mad at myself that I forgot to mention in my video that I cut out the most important parts of the story, and used them as pockets throughout the journal that go in order from beginning of story to the very end. So Templeton is def in there. And so are his clippings! 😆
I just found your channel today and am so glad it popped up in my suggested videos. Charlotte’s Web was one of my favorite books as a young girl and you did a splendid job with the journal. Bravo!! ❤
I've never done a tutorial before - I'd like to try one! Maybe I can try one out. In the meantime, the spine is made of 3 cut layers of a honey nut cheerios box! Bonded to the original covers with fabric. ❤️
Wow. Just flipping through and saw charlottes web. Love this book. I never expected to See How Precious this Journal Is!! I love it. U did a Great Job. So sweet n love it!!
¡¡Qué precioso trabajo!! Me encanta la cantidad de cosas que tiene, cada hoja es una sorpresa. Gracias por mostrar este diario. Saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷
Thank you so much!!!! That was exactly my goal in creating her. I just uploaded a Charlotte's Web 2.0 a few minutes ago which is slightly different 🐖🕷️🕸️
I love the way you decorated the spine so it looked good where it meets the cover. I struggle with that. I love this so much! Thanks for the flip-thru. :)
This is so awesome. This was one of my very favorite stories. You have really done a beautiful job in making a journal in line with the book. Great job !
I agree with Julie Monroe, it's one of my all time favorite kiddy books, or at least right up there with half a dozen others. I LOVE how you kept sooo much of the original book art. This was really done in an amazing way. Thanks for this share!
Thank you so very much, Lynn! Yes, I agree, it is such a beautiful story beginning to end, and I cry at the end when Charlotte dies alone every time I read it! Thank you for watching 😊
I love your book so much….It’s so sweet, and the images from the book are darling. I did something similar for myself with my old favorite, Black Beauty. I forgot how adorable this book was though- I totally would want to buy it if it wasn’t gone already. I also love that you didn’t go overboard ( this is just personal opinion) in the add-ons and dangles, and just general clutter that some of the junk journals tend to have- just stuff that doesn’t really ring true to any theme, it just ends up being extra stuff. Really nice book
Thank you so much for your kind words, Mandy. That means a lot to me as this is probably my favorite of all time - it holds such a special place in my heart. I have remade this a few times for custom orders. If you're ever interested, please email me at laurentureff@gmail.com and we can chit chat. Thank you again 🩷
Beautiful work. Can you tell me what type of paper you use to print your digitals? I'm having trouble getting a good clear picture. I have an Epson Ecco tank printer. Some prints are better than others but I want it to be more consistent. Thanks for your time.
Sometimes I have the same issue - I have found that matte photo paper has the best results, but can be more expensive. I have also found that not all cardstock is the same - some soak up the ink wayyyy more leaving the image less vibrant and kinda "foggy" or muted. Cardstock from Staples has given me really good results.
Hi, Madelyn! I had never thought of that before.. I think I could do that. I would at least be happy to give it a try. Is there anything specific you are interested in seeing?
Lovely journal. I remember my first grade teacher reading this for story hour. I cried then and still do. Such a touching story. Probably the reason I became an avid reader.
I could not agree (and relate) with your statement more!! I started crying just making this journal thinking about the story 😂 This book definitely bred my love for literature.
