You know what, I respect Charlotte for talking about that. This would have been a perfect scene for Samantha to be apart of. If you want to have sex be safe and have it for your pleasure, not his.
There’s no such thing as safe sex unless you’re in a committed marriage where two people desire the intended outcome, which is a child. Like how old are you? We live in the age of knowledge where we know what happens during abortion to both mother and baby, and the myriad of sexually transmitted diseases, get a clue
Lily is spoiled and disrespectful, and yes it’s ok to have a open conversation with you mom about sex but the way Lily did it was so disrespectful, and the. She called her mom Gross. I’m surprised Charlotte has such a horrible child, there I said it
The show just seems horrible. I loved it in the 90s but the current script writing is terrible. I can’t imagine any mother enjoying the fact that her daughter went public about when she wants to have sex for the first time. That right there is a serious problem.
@@KittenBowl1wow, you just decide at 50 something people have to bow out? This show rated its sox off. That’s why we got another series. Not your call.
Is it me or does Kristin look different, better, than she did in earlier reboot episodes? Also I know it’s just a tv show but the kids in the reboot make me glad I don’t have kids.
I think the fillers that she had injected have or are in the process of dissolving. To her credit, she went public with her experience and how it brought her to tears watching herself on camera. I'm sorry she felt the need to do that but I also think agents and managers pressure actors as well.
Ehhh... I would caution looking into adverse side effects first. I got the Gardisil series back in 2010 and it left me with permanent nerve damage in my limbs. Condoms are safe for those who don't get the series.
SHE/LILY IS AN ACTRESS, she is acting out what the writers and directors are telling her to do!!! If she is "getting to you" then that means she is a good actress in playing her "part" of being a brat - it is a show, not real life! BUT HOWEVER - Gen Zers do act that way.
No one is attacking the actress. People are just discussing how annoying the character is, and that's ok. It's an interesting show, people discuss shows they're interested in and its fictional characters. Lily (the fictional character) is annoying and it has to be said.
Lily's behavior and attitude make me extremely nauseous. Since when is it 'cool' to disrespect the woman who either gave birth to you or adopted you and mothered you since you were a baby? Lily treats Charlotte not as a mother, but as her maid at best. At worst, as her indentured servant. Then, had the AUDACITY to self-righteously sing about 'privilege' and lecture others on 'cultural inappropriateness.' Then again, this over the top entitlement doesn't happen with good parenting. Sad if this a reflection of post-gen Z generation.

@@normancarter5419 First of all, my critique was of ‘Lily’ that’s the character NOT the actress! So, yeah, the character is absolutely hideous and cringe-worthy. That’s not a personal attack on the actress who plays the character. Instead of getting triggered, learn to read what others are saying. And, not, all of ‘gen zers’ act that way. Entitled ones DO.
There’s literally no such thing as safe sex, unless you’re in a committed marriage where two people desire the intended outcome, which is a child. Like we live in the age of knowledge where we know what happens during abortion to both mother and baby, and the myriad of sexually transmitted diseases, this show is so freaking backwards and ancient I swear.
How about, when you turn 18 and have your own apartment you can have all the sex no one needs to know about. Her kids have zero boundaries/rules/consequences and do whatever they want plus spoiling. This is why parents shouldn't be friends with their kids. She does this because her parents were strict so she is permissive. They will grow up resentful because of this. Teenagers are not adults.
Yeah not a good approach. Oh course teens are not adults yet. But the reality is they will start having sex anyway, like it or not. Much better off being educated about it and having a parent that teaches you how to protect yourself, not only but the sexual part but also the emotional.
You can't really tell your kid "don't have sex till you move out". Then they will just sneak in while you're out and do it. If your kid expresses an interest in sex, offer them guidance and trust. That's not being "a friend", that's being a responsible caregiver. Now, if you think that your kid is having inappropriate partners (who do drugs, are too old for them etc.), then that's something else. But teenagers are gonna have sex. That's just the facts of life.
Which is why I’d let my kid know that if you’re mature enough to have sex, then you’ll be mature to suffer any consequences that follow. Get an STD? I’ll pay the medical bill but, the cost of medication is coming out of your allowance. 😅@@johniii8147
Your advice is so pathological and disconnected from reality. You sound like a 60+ year old… 😂 who is totally disconnected from how things actually work. Remember when you were a teen and have some empthy, then you’ll understand them better. Bye!
She was going well until she started telling Lily to focus on her own pleasure. I mean, it's important, but having your mom telling you that is really awkward.
