Thanks for the comprehensive review. After using this a few times, I completely agree that skin prep is critical for this to work effectively with pleasing results. I realized it after first application by the amount of dry patches it emphasized. With the right skin prep and technique, I was able to figure out the best way for it to work for me. Also, since I prefer at least a medium coverage, I like to use my hands to layer it on and then lightly push it into the skin with a damp sponge to help it settle in.
Great review thank you! I really wanted to like this foundation but found very similar issues to the ones you’ve mentioned. Additionally I experienced a lot of oxidation and was glad to have only used the sample and returned my purchase. I’ll stick to my Armani luminous silk even though it’s more expensive, it’s perfect every time and application is a breeze. Xx

I just went and picked up a sample for this yesterday so I was VERY excited to see you review it. Such a comprehensive detailed video yet again!! I kinda love how it looks on you but now I'm worried about the application... how do you think it compares tot he Nars tinted moisturiser?
I'm glad you picked up a sample! Let me know how you find it. In comparison to Nars this has more coverage. Both have a glowy hydrating finish except nars doesn't emphasize my pores nor does it settle into my laugh lines like CT

I only have 2 quads and I love both. I do think her instant eye palettes are much better value for money. I think if the idea of buying the quads gives you anxiety because you only get 4 shades then definitely stick with the larger palettes🥰
Have seen alot of reviews stating the foundation is very thick and that alone makes me pass. Was hoping for the light weight feel and glow of the flawless filter but more coverage. Thanks for sharing!

Its not new but i was seeing the reviews , seems like decent one, dont know if you have already done a review and i have missed it.
What foundation do you recommend for good coverage but compatible with dry skin? I have the same skin tone as yours! I’m currently using the Dior concealer as ‘foundation’ but finding it’s not as high coverage as I would like.
Chantecaille future skin (review coming soon) or Koh Gen Do aqua foundation (have reviewed this already) both have medium coverage and I think will work really well for dry skin. I've really been enjoying wearing both🥰

Thanks for your attention to detail. I agree that it looks great from what I can see in the video but I do get dry patches so I will pass. That CT quad on the other hand… I’ve been eyeing it for a little while. I just can’t seem to get enough of the green sparkly shadows!
The interesting thing with the CT rebel quad is that there aren't any matte eyeshadows and to create looks you are forced to just use the shimmers, however these shimmers are just so great that together they look stunning and you don't need any mattes at all! I have worn this palette a few times now and itz becoming a fave!
OMG I had the same issue ..my pores are was just awful! So textured and you can see the foundation sitting on my face...I returned it...Im with you, I cant do so much work to wear a foundation
Yeah the foundation is thick! Really need to spend time working it into the skin otherwise I found it heavy too. Just too many cons with this foundation sadly

I won't be buying this after your review. I'm like you: it shouldn't be such an effort to make your foundation work. I have dry skin, healing from eczema, so I will probably end up never using this. I found the only true foundation worthy of calling itself skin-like is the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation. Somehow I've always had a weird feeling about CT products. I bought the bronzer which doesn't work as a bronzer for me because I can't see it on my skin (the color is darker than I am so I don't know why). The foundations seem like a miss match for my skin and preference. Then I have the lipsticks which I haven't tried enough to really decide whether they work due to working from home and having to wear a mask and such. So far it seems the only thing attracting me is the fancy marketing. I was hoping you'd post a review. Glad you did, thank you!
Ahh yes I remember Bobbi Brown skin foundation. Itz absolutely lovely! I finished a whole bottle of this back in the day haha itz interesting the bronzer hasn't worked for you. It is pretty average tho. I use mine primarily for the mirror! 😝
@@RashiRamalho Yes the bronzer is pretty average! I use mine to tone down the dewiness from my Saie skin tint a bit if I put my rich moisturizer underneath. I do like how it airbrushes my skin, though. But that would be the only thing that stands out, and that is not why I bought the bronzer for in the first place.
I don't think I will buy this foundation. I have very dry skin so I don't like foundations that cling to dry patches or makes my pores stand out. You saved me money!🤗
