I really like Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks formulas. They’re super comfortable and the shades are so flattering and beautiful. My fav shade from this collection is hands down Glowing Jen; it’s the perfect peachy rose nude shade for my skin tone. Thanks for the video.

Your review is great only thing is I wish you wore neutral eyeshadow.. it kind of distracts us from seeing how the colors of the lipstick really look like. Your somewhat warm reddish orange eye look is fighting with the reddish orange tones of the lipsticks (some).

The swatches on the Tilbury website all clearly have lipliner and never match what the colors look like on me. I find her shades very hard to wear so I don’t know who they are universally flattering. Guess not olive undertoned me.
I also find many of the Charlotte Tilbury colors hard to wear. I have a golden undertone to my skin and many of her colors seem to be made for porcelain skinned English Roses. They also always read much lighter on my lips than in swatches. But the ones that work I do love because of the formula. And I always wear a lipliner, so that makes all of the difference. But for women with deeper skin tones, finding anything that works could be very difficult. And for very deep skin, like a makeup artist friend of mine has, all of her makeup colors are impossible. So I agree. Not universal at all.
Deborah Carlston I’m glad it’s not just me. I love the color that Hepburn Honey looks on her website - and I’m pretty fair despite olive undertones, and on me the shade comes out so much lighter and like a peach under eye corrector rather than a honey brown lipstick. I’ve tried it with lip liners but still it’s so much lighter than the website. At least Massachusetts finally got a couple of stores that carry it so I can test out colors in person now. But so far I haven’t found a color I would repurchase despite how good the formula is. ❤️
@@rachelmarch1125 , Two colors of hers that worked very well on me, and read in the nude family when I have them on, are SuperNineties and SuperModel. Both are very wearable and give me the look I might have hoped for from Pillowtalk (which is too light on me) and something like Hepburn Honey. Both are Limited Edition I think, but were recently restocked on her website. I do use a lipliner (Attitude by Bare Minerals is my go to for everything). They are both mattes and are fairly long lasting. The CT website will let you return something if you've tried it and don't like it, which many brands will not do. So your risk is minimized. Might be worth a look. Good luck!
I love your lighting because its very much true to your actual tones. No insane highlighting or brightness, makes the colors look more accurate. You go girl!

So excited for these! I love the kissing formula but the shade range is so much more limited than the matte revolution (prefer darker nudes) but there are some nice colours in the kissing line in this release! Hopes it gets to beautylish though haha

The "dirty" lipstick cases were the result of hours of swatching and dragging the lipsticks down my arm to do good comparisons to help viewers make informed decisions on what they want to purchase. I didn't even notice them until after I filmed. And after spending hours to film and edit, you just have to let some things go. Which of course you didn't. 🙄 SMH
Morgan Turner I don’t understand why people get so defensive and upset because of an observation. Didn’t expect you to do the whole video over if you didn’t notice until you were editing. I know it takes time and effort and you did a very thorough and informative video. But hey I guess it’s only acceptable to say what others want to hear 🤷🏻♀️
Thank you, Morgan. I also love CT lip products - I own a few, and personally think they are one of the best on the market. I love, love, LOVE them. Now I can really think of some shades :) I think the one that has caught my attention is JK Magic. I am not a nude lipstick person, but I love the softness of it. And surprisingly, Viva la Vergara, I think it reminds me of Lisa Eldridge's Velvet Jazz. Anyway, I envy of your eye makeup. Just perfect.
CT for sure has one of the best formulas out there, which is why I am crazy and buy every color she comes out with! BTW the eyes are soooo simple, I just used a Daness Myricks Color fix blended all over the lid and that was it! Super easy!
Thank you for the swatches and for also wearing the shades. I bought Glowing Jen, which is a perfect shade for me, and Viva La Vergara, which I consider unremarkable and too much like Bond Girl. I like CT's KISSING formula but find the Matte Revolution formula dry.
CT matte lipstick formula is unfortunately disappointing in my opinion. Color pay off is weak. Its patching on the lips and feel uncomfortable. For the price range its in, the formula is rather “cheap”
I dont know how anyone can tell the difference with alk these shades. They all look the same or close. I cant justify spending this much money on these things. Ive bought alot already which i do love but....nice but its the same colors. This line is nice but boring now. And pricey.
Both are made in Italy, so there are a lot of similarities. The matte formulas are pretty similar, I do find that the kissing formula that CT has is unique though!

I am big fan of yours and always purchase stuff for my mom after watching your reviews and swatches I was quite hesitant to question this, this might make me look stupid, but because i got only a few bucks as pocket money, almost a $110 and i cant get a couple of shades so just want to get her one of these. She is quite fair and loves pinks and reds. So which ONE shade would you prefer to gift her! And one more thing, youre a great lady and a quite talented person in makeup community, hope to see you shine and rise brighter, trust me, i gave priority to watching this vid of yours rather than sleeping😂😭. Love watching your videos specially since it’s a brand I’m looking to start collecting since its my favorite shade ranges! I’m definitely getting angel alessandria first I love peachy colors, and I also agree with some of the other people the eyeshadow looks great but it is a little confusing to picture. And I noticed since the beginning it seems like the lipstick formula spreads to the sides of the lips a little I’m still going to try one first to see how it works out for me. Constructive criticism here no hate, look forward to seeing more of CT :) 🌸🌸🌸
Morgan have you ever tried Chanel allure matte theyre in my opinion the best matte lipsticks while still being creamy and feel moisturizing. The matte formula with CT is good but I do notice it breaks down on my lips maybe it's the gel texture ?
eye shadow stole the show, and a lot of the lip sticks have smudges on the side? For such a classic brand, that is very off putting when you show case them.

Thank you! I just noticed that the refills do actually have the shade name on them. It’s a little hard to see, but on the side of the metal part surrounding the bullet, the name is laser etched on. It looks like it’s only printed on the refill tubes and not the original/in-case shades. Just in case that’s helpful for anyone!😊
