I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought that ahaha. I hated this campaign, it came off so janky and weird and had MLM hun/AI-written vibes. Also hated that they tried to claim there was ✨science✨ to it somehow (proceeds to not explain because there is no science, it’s just a buzzword) but my child self would’ve absolutely adored the packaging. They do look like potions a dodgy sorcerer would sell you in a fantasy RPG 😂

I don’t get why people are hating on these so much. At first, I was put off by the look of the bottles, but just out of curiosity I decided to try the line when I saw them on Sephora shelf. I sprayed “More Sex” on the blotter, and really liked it, so I sprayed it on myself and left. I couldn’t get enough of it, and it lasted all day, and I could still smell it on my arm the next day, which never happens! Must be the ambroxan. I ordered a bottle the same week. I get that CT is very dramatic and extra with those descriptions, names and bottle looks, but I genuinely think that if these fragrances were released by a niche house in a different bottle, people would not bash them like they have been. These scents should be rated way better than 2.8 stars on Fragrantica 🤦🏽‍♀️

I think it's mostly just the marketing and bottles. It doesn't feel consistent and like a lot of thought went behind it. But more like cheap AI that wasn't checked and adapted. Which is quite sad, this could have been much more interesting like what Bella Hadid has done with her fragrance line. That one feels cohesive and much more sesible. Sadly the bad marketing will stand in the way regardless of how good those actually are

The scents weren’t good, the marketing promised too much and didn’t deliver, the packaging wasn’t the greatest, and then the price adds insult to injury. I think if a niche house had gone about selling these the same way they would’ve gotten eviscerated even more since niche lovers tend to be even more picky with the whole fragrance experience

CT doesn't do herself any favours. It's so hard for people to take her fragrances seriously when she parodies and camps up everything to the max. I love that you love it, I like leather fragrances but prefer Hermés' Bel Amisor, Marc-Antoine Barrois' Ganymede.

Even before this launch.. I’ve just been so done with CT. I used to love her products but there’s something about her marketing that started to rub me the wrong way. I haven’t bought a new product from her in probably 2 years and this launch really seals the deal for me. Like was there no editor involved in this?!!

What cracks me up is the "clinical studies" in the descriptions. 😆 Honestly I'm REALLY drawn to the bottles because of the potion vibes, but I don't know if I would like most of them. Or any of them. I'm interested in maybe the watery one and maybe the joy one, but I'll have to go to Sephora and smell them. If I get a whiff of diaper bag I'm out. 😆 Not a fan of powdery.

Your description of Scent of a Dream reminded me of the Revlon Charlie Red perfume! My mom gifted it to me as my first grown-up perfume. ...That was how I learned amber fragrances weren't for me 😅 I keep coming back to that bottle every now and then though just to see if maybe it'll finally click, lol. Edit: ok wait I sprayed a little bit right after making this comment and maybe this time it's kind of hitting 👀 however, I think I can feel the headache coming on too lmao

I'm glad that I am not the only one that liked the design of the bottles 😅 I liked that they commit to the Alchemy Aesthetic that they are going for 👍 From the shape of the bottles that looks like a potion down to the box of the perfume looking like a book or tarot cards 🔮 Overall, I really loved the presentation of this product ❤️

I love the one in the green bottle! Yet I did pick the Calm Bliss! For me it was so close to the fragrance I love "Beach Walk" by Maison Margiela. One of my absolute favorites! Over here in the UK, Harrods sells all of them in 10 ml for twenty pounds so it is a great way to buy them on a budget. I think I will go for the green one next. It was a close second! I really think she did a great job! I giggle about her over the top way of promoting her line but she really did well with these!

I got the sample set and the only feelings I got was nauseous and head ache. I personally thought Joyphoria and callm bliss are ok but I had to wash my arms and change my shirt twice because I couldn't get away from the other s I sprayed on me. I was headed to the gym and literally had to turn around and come home I felt so yuck. I dont hate the bottle though like everyone else. I kinda think they are cute

If you want a nice forest scent, you can Forest Noir by Badgley Mishka. It seems quite different from the CT one, but it’s really good in a very pretty bottle for a much better price.

I like the bottles too, I think they are very cute. I hate scent of dream so much lol. when you said cosmic power smells the most like it you scared me. I ordered a bottle of it yesterday on her website luckily it come with the sample + return option. As far as free sample with purchase I went with magic power and love frequency. If I could have a 3rd sample option I would have pick up more sex as well. I didn’t want to blow money on the sampler set because I already know I will hate calm bliss because of the lavender, I don’t care for joyphoria, I have plenty of summer sunscreen scent in my collection already, rose and also leather notes are hit and miss for me. So really was debating in between magic power and cosmic power as a full size with the return option. I went for cosmic power because of the bottle hahaha purple is my favorite colour. I do like powdery/ ambery scent though so hopefully I will like it 🤞🏻

Magic Energy is my favourite! Its not too sweet. I really don't like sweet perfumes. I love the colour green. I find it more unique than the other 5. Although Calm Bliss is the other one I like.

I got the sampler out of curiosity. I wasn’t offended by any of them, but I also wasn’t wow’d by any of them. They were all just fine. Nothing I would want a full bottle of or even a travel size for that matter. I don’t mind the bottles but I don’t like the imagery on the front of them. It makes them look cheaper to me.

I love Tom Ford fragrances, esp 2006-2016 era bottles. Mine have aged beautifully, and all have insane longevity and complexity. The recent stuff doesn't really have the lasting power. The house has definitely fallen since he sold it off. I hate these CT bottles, though. They look cheap in some 1990s mall way. I don't really get the potion apothecary vibe from them at all. I think they should have went with a black glass body for the bottle and maybe a crystal topper in a different color. I also just hate the shape. It's too sharp. Or maybe just not made fragrances in the first place. Im over every cosmetic company putting out mediocre fragrances as a cash grab, and i say this as a fragrance lover.

Back to say I got cosmic power in the mail today, I was hoping I would like it 🤣🤣 but I kinda knew since we have similar taste that I would not like it 🤣 part of me want to keep it because the bottle is pretty but I think I will go ahead and go for the uglier green bottle instead 🤣 I got scent of a dream throw back too from this one, looking online see nothing wrong with the note and then smelling it and be like what the f*** 🤣🤣 why does it smell so vintage, rich grand ma vibe from it. 😅😅

I bought the travel size of Cosmic Power on a blind buy because I like spicy overpowering scents and when I pulled it out of the box I immediately smelled it and audibly said, “Oh no.” It smells like some cheap perfume my mom had samples of in her jewelry box in the 80s. I’m going to have to take it back, I don’t even want it in my house.
