I am very slowly building my CT collection these past few years. I only need a highlighter, concealer and a powder to be able to do a full face makeup look. So I hope to do it in 2021.

I own only one of CT lipsticks, B..ch perfect in kissing formula... the biggest disappointment in a lipstick ever. Patchy, feels thick/waxy on the lips, I don't like the scent, it emphasises every line, doesn't stay on long (I understand it isn't supposed to be long wearing, but even YSL Rouge volupte stay on longer)... I own Revlon lipsticks that perform way better than that. Overall, I think some shades are beautiful, I am particularly drawn to the Super Starlet shade that came out recently. But since I've never been impressed with any CT products overall, I won't be buying. For me, when it comes to lipsticks - Lisa Eldridge, YSL and Lancome is where it's at.
All those lipsticks look good on you but it’s so interesting how each one changes the way I would perceive your personality if I didn’t know you. Well I don’t know you but I mean if I encountered you in the wild. Bond girl makes me perceive you as confident, competent, someone I would trust to take care of things and have a good talk with. Lost cherry would make me perceive you as someone very sweet and kind with a sense of humor. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that when watching lip swatch videos. Maybe because you were so careful choosing lipstick that speaks to you. Bond girl is really that all purpose great lip color for those of us it suits.
I have been looking for reviews of Lost Cherry from anyone who bought it after 2019 since the website has many reviews lamenting how much it lost its vibrancy after 2019, and saying it was basically the exact same shade s Miranda May. You describe it as a shade I want - a light red! Did you purchase yours after 2019? I’m thinking maybe since your video is from one year ago…🙏🏼
I bought the lipstick specifically for this video. And I have never even heard of that lipstick shade you mentioned so I wouldn't know how it compares. If this is a repromote/ renamed shade it should be indicated on her official website. I know it's the case for Bond Girl which is now called MI Kiss. The website lists both the old and the new shade name.

I think it has to do with copyright issues and formula changes. Luckily her website does specify the new names and says what the old name was. For instance, Bond Girl is now called MI Kiss.
I need to try out Very Victoria... I totally get your point of light nudes and populair shades being slightly off. Like I prefer Nars Dolce Vita over Orgasm.
Oh yeah I have found myself not being able to wear so many of the popular lipstick shades. MAC Angel? Washes me out. MAC Faux? Too light on my lips. Lip colors pull so differently depending on your natural lip color as well as your coloring overall.
I’m obsessed with CT at the moment. They are running some amazing sales at the moment. I have slightly natural pigmented lips like yours and Pillow Talk did not show anything on my lips 😆 luckily I only bought the mini size lipstick n lip liner. Super cute. I will try Very Victoria. Looks great. For now I just bought set of 3 in Walk of No Shame, The Queen and Lost Cherry. I bought Nude Romance cos I love the packaging n already own Mrs. Kisses also in the new LOok of love packaging. Hope to watch more lip swathes from you on other formulas as well as matte. 😘😘😘 maybe like if you own this you don’t need this 😆
I love her lipsticks as well. 🥰 I have Pillow Talk and Walk Of No Shame. I’m thinking about getting a berry shade, Love Liberty next. I really want to try Very Victoria and other Pillow Talk shades - the medium and the intense. 😉
hi i have shades and my gosh my favourite is The Duchess , i bought three all the same shade yes the one i stated , i adore her collection i got pillow talk diamonds which is very pale and i use it as a topper , and three collagen lip bath , i use this at night then my lips are fabulous in the morning .then i have 2 liquid lipsticks and i dont really like them my pillow talk is the original, but i believe she has a medium and a deep , for different skin colours .yes i have three lip liners . i am very pale with bright silver hair so i need a shade which warms my skin , thats why i adore The duchess its my everyday lipstick thats why i have used up two now !i am looking at charlotte Darling but its a liquid lipstick ! oh i think i need that red carpet red !oh i think i need that one too !lost cherry ! yes water melon it’s beautiful, my love liz x yes The Duchess its a beautiful shade i will always buy it its a pinky nude but believe me i get compliments, when i use it , but its getting that i panic if i cant find it !
