I miss this show so much!! Prue was always my favourite but after Piper became the oldest I admired her bravery and her protectiveness over her sisters.
D!on D prue? No they to cut the budget to the bare bones. It’s one of the reason why Daryl was written out of the final season and it’s one of the reason why we barely had Leo. We lucky that we got Leo in the final season
Just think. In the beginning, Piper was the shy timid middle sister. The voice of reason. The heart of the family, or at least the sisters. Prue's death made her realize she had to take that step up, to protect the family, like prue would've done. All the while holding it all together. She showed the most/best emotion in the show. She's gotta be my favorite sister.
i love it when Piper says "wait" after cole says he's impressed and she blasts him.their powers truly come from their emotions and Piper is pissed here
Piper is also indestructible because of Wyatt's powers can you imagine just how much stronger and destructive her explosion power was whilst she was pregnant she blew Jeric up and there was no known vanquishing spell for him
@@wickedwitchoftheeast88 Well she could blew banshees up the moment she got the power and they had no spell as well. Still, Cole wasnt even vanquished, and he also had reconstitution aside from his power field
This is the scene that defined piper as my favorite. It shows how strong of a, not only a witch, but woman. And i absolutely love it. Holly Marie played the part PERFECTLY. And i love the scene in season 7 when she was trying to find a way to save Leo and summoned an avatar and elder and went head on with them. LOVE her ^.^
I absolutely loved this episode especially this scene Cole and Piper are my favorite characters in Charmed I loved all the sisters but I related to Piper more loved her character development how she went from a sweet and shy middle child to a badass sarcastic older sister. I was so sad when Prue died but tbh Piper made the show after Prue died when she stepped up being the older sis and Phoebe not being the baby anymore and becoming the middle child. This scene sold me on why I loved Piper it showed that she was not only a good and powerful witch but she was also a strong and good person. The acting and chemistry between Julian and Holly in this scene was electric especially when Piper said Get Out you could see her rage and despair. I also loved how both sisters after Prue died took after her Phoebe became very workaholic like Prue and Piper became very protective over her sisters. I love that detail it shows that Prue really did raise them.
this was such an incredible moment of piper character. lets be honest some people choose pheobe cause they grew up with her. but she value both her sisters too much
the only reason i really love season 6 is because of Chris and piper. after that season Charmed was totally noticeably weakening. Season 8 is a mess and i hated it because of how much they focused on billy and christy, they should have gone back to their roots.
Well, that bitch is now playing on one big popular show which is called "The Big Bang Theory" she is also extremely known and well paid, more than the actress of charmed have never been.. Not too bad for a bad actress
One of their neighbours who accidentally ends up with Piper's powers says she thought they threw a bunch of wild parties when she heard loud bangs and screaming so I would assume the rest of the neighbourhood thought something similar
They both looked like they were enjoying themselves here... they're both so alike in some ways. My favourite characters. They should have been the ones to hook up... more chemistry and sparkage... literally
Cole: "Ah, impressive!!" Piper: "...wait..." I fully believe if this fight went on for hours, Piper (& Wyatt) would have actually pulled it off. Piper wasn't taking any damage but Cole was being whittled down slowly.
@@ricardomoseley Exactly. And Piper had more to lose in that fight so she wasn't backing down. During the fight, you see when Leo walks in, Piper is launched back by an energy ball, virtually unphased. Cole, on the otherhand, gets blasted back and reel in pain. Had that fight went on another 1-2 hours, Cole would have needed to call it quits.
I don't think so. Cole was clearly not serious, if things had turned serious he might've put Piper out of commission. She might've been carrying Wyatt but she was still pregnant. No to mention invincible Cole had so many powers, he was unaware of the sheer number.
If I remember correctly, Phoebe was the one who wasted a golden opportunity to save Cole when she killed that wizard. Cole didn't choose to be the source, he was posessed and Phoebe was the one who made the choice to be with him.
Lol that wizard becoming the source would of been a really good storyline. I could just hear Piper now....the source is like four feet tall? And we're supposed to be scared of him? Paige call the leprechauns!
By that time Phoebe was under the influence of demonic potion the Seer gave her and their demonic child. It wasn't really Phoebe by that point. Cole had multiple chances to fix this and he screwed all of them. He should have confessed to Phoebe when she asked him what's wrong (before wedding), he didn't want to lose Source power as he was addicted to it. It's a metaphor for toxic relationships and addiction. He tried to change for her but in the end he just couldn't and their ways parted.
Eugeniya Leshenko But after Cole died she wasn't all the evil. But when he was alive and when the baby didn't fully grow his power she was evil by the baby? Doesn't make sense. And did you watch the episodes? In one episode Cole said he wanted to tell the, but the source was too powerful and didn't want him. He even told old phoebe to tell the other phoebe to help him but she died. And the only reason why they are in this mess was because of phoebe
@@samhart4205 he definitely would have been a challenge for the entire family. But I’d imagine Wyatt would still have been stronger only because the Excalibur sword, will say he’d be more experienced with the charmed ones and magic school. But It would make one hell of a story line including a family civil war like in house of the dragon.
@LINX29X92 It would've been intriguing for sure. Especially since Phoebe and Cole's child would be the first born in the kids. The first born is the strongest.
bro i dont think you know charmed very well lol. Trust me, me and my sisters are huge fuckin fans of charmed but cole was literally unkillable at this point in the show, and pipers magic wasn't unlimited her baby couldn't protect her for ever lol. SHe wasn't unkilllable but he was
I' a huge fucking Charmed fan as well and in this fight Piper would've won. Piper had a protection shield that was impenetrable. Cole was just unvanquishable... if Piper didn't have that shield then yes... she'd be toast.
In a "real trying to kill one another" fight, Cole would have won in a second. He had unlimited powers at that time. Actually in that episode he sent Piper from Egypt back to her house while he could have sent her anywhere else (to the underworld, to the sun, or somewhere worse). In that season he even could make a darklighter inmune to her powers without effort
@@JoseGutierrez-jd8ss but with the baby it showed he can tapped use its own powers inside piper. No matter what cole would try to do piper and her unborn son could take it. We dont but what if Wyatt used his projection power inside the womb to either amplify his mom's powers to the point it would be able to vanguish cole or just vanguish cole period
I agree. It was just sloppy writing due to the fact that they had run out of good material to use for Cole. He was an engaging character in seasons 3 & 4 but they just screwed him up for the 5th. At that point they didn't know what to do with him so they just made him go crazy and had the sisters turn their backs on him. BUT they did a great follow up episode in the 7th season when Cole returned to help Piper.
(She tries to blow him up and sparks fly off him.) Piper: Doesn't mean I won't try. Cole: Okay, if that's the way you want to play it. (He throws an energy ball at Piper and her protective shield splits the energy ball in two, making them hit objects across the room.) Ahh, impressive. Piper: Wait. (Piper tries to blow him up again and this time sends him flying across the room.)
The fights in Charmed became quick and underwhelming As a fan of the show I'm sad to say even the final battle took a whole season to build up and it lasted like 30 seconds
I feel the same about them fighting the triad and the source. They should have brought one of them back, not two, then had them as the main enemy, with each fighting each other many times. Or even dedicate the full episode to it, the charmed ones were so scared about both the source and the triad, but kill them in less than 5 minutes!
Yes. They brought a bit of closure to his character. Even tho he's stuck in some perpetual void having to watch over Phoebe. I mean that sucks. But at least the last thing he did was a Good which is what Cole ultimately wanted to do with his life.
Its really ironic how Paige knew the whole time that Cole was Evil when Piper and Phoebe wouldn’t believe her, just like when Prue was alive she knew Cole was Evil and that he wouldn’t change. Cole went from being Balthazar, to having No Powers, to being The Source of The Underworld, back to being a Demon again. Like Prue once said once a Demon always a Demon!! Piper would have kicked A** if he wasn’t Invincible and had all those New Demonic Powers!
@@almightykue3914 What human? Cole was never 100% human. He is always been half-human/half-demon. He just suppresed his powers or bind them. Lol. Like the sisters are never numan, they are half-witch/half- human. At this point, Cole was the Source that got tired of all the powers because none of it is getting what he wants (Phoebe). So he played them, he pissed them off to the point they found a way to vanquish him. Because Cole knows only them can do. 😂 Piper and Phoebe always knew Cole can be so evil. But they also saw the good in Cole. I mean, that guy saved them from The Source. It was hard for them especially to Phoebe.
Different situations. Prue was there from the start when Cole was actively trying to do something. Paige came in when Cole already established a relationship with them and Piper and Phoebe were trying to keep the peace but Paige being new and cautious didint care which was good
man they are not even trying to dodge each other which is also the greatest thing. it's like i can't vanquish you and you can't hurt me either but until i get what i want let's just blast each other
0:25 Does Wyatt´s power field has to be stronger with Cole´s energy balls? I say it because it´s usually blue instead of golden only when Cole attacked Piper
I wouldn't be so shure about that. Cole collected quite a lot of powers when he was in this demonic limbo. Whe may not know how many but they made him invincible, hence unvanquishable to the Charmed Ones. Piper and Wyatt couldn't do it, why should Wyatt be able to kill him on his own? I won't say that Cole is stronger but they're at least equal.
Cole only died when he went back in time and assumed his former identity which wasn't invincible, although the Avatar could of granted him Avatar powers before he went in the house. That story made no sense to me, without meeting Paige the only powers the source would of stole were Pipers, then the crystal cage would of worked on killing him since he couldn't orb a crystal, they needed to provide an explanation as to why he still became the source, Paige having never been there would of changed so many things, for one Leo would not have gotten shot by that dark lighter because instead of following Paige he would of stayed in the kitchen with Piper.
Pham Henry And Paige hates Cole. Like Prue once said once a Demon always a Demon.
@ShakinNotStirred you said they could have did way more with coles character? like what for example? crblue17 did mention all of it almost, what more could he have gone through? sometimes its better to end it when its still good, in stead of dragging it out so it looks unrealistic at the end
I noticed after Cole left the show got less interesting...Season 6 was the weakest...Season 7 was good especially when cole came back and season 8 was mediocre
I think they got Wyatt's story all wrong. It seems to me that first, the invisible demon with the teddy bear that did actually turn him evil seems more likely to happen rather than Gideon since he really didn't do anything traumatizing. Then again there is also the fact of Billie and Kristy, if they killed the sisters then someone would have had to take the kids and no one would be around to protect Victor. Look at what being raised by the triad did to Kristy. I also don't get how Chris retained his memories, during the last episode he remembered everything even though he altered the entire time line meaning Wyatt never went evil so he would of never gone back in time, Paige would not have been saved from the titans and that alone would have made the other two sisters more vulnerable to Billie and Kristy. To me the show was at it's best during the whole Cole/Phoebe romance and then through out Paige's red head phase but after she dyed her hair back, it kind of went a little down. I hated the fake death plot, it just seemed so silly but I will admit that Phoebe's comic appeal came back after Cole. I still wonder what happened to the helicopters and airplanes when the avatars put everyone to sleep.
Agreed. That crying scene in the series finale was horrible. I hated how they gave her a sister out of nowhere. But remember this was a time when CW and Charmed were fighting because they made a lot of decisions the production and cast didn’t like. They didn’t do a lot of promo for the show, they forced Coop onto them, they brought Billie a sister so they can recreate the sister bond from the entire series. It wasn’t a shocker they screwed Charmed over but at the same time it’s idiotic they wanted to reboot the entire show so they can have more control over it. The original is doing AMAZING in repeats on TNT and Pop TV as well as on Netflix. Not to mention the dolls from Mego Corp last year.
One of those fundamentally amusing moments these kind of series always seem to need, really; what's NOT to find amusing about two invincible combatants trying to beat the crap out of each other?
@charmedfan12362 im glad you agree :) .. and i think season 8 was about all of them like you wrote the first time, AND ofc. stopping the ultimate power.
@ShakinNotStirred Same here, though it's kind of understandable, things got quite a bit hecktic when Pheobe ran off with possesed Cole. The girls were pretty confused and emotinal then, still I wish he'd been given another chance. But I'm not sure there was much opportunity for it. Hmm, I'll have to rewatch those episodes, my memory of episodes following his "vanquish" is a bit hazy.
@MsYugiboy yea I know. But they didnt have to kill him off. He could've turned good and helped people elsewhere. But to kill him off and then have him in perpetual limbo watching over the love of his life? Thats no fair at all and not a great send off for a great character in my opinion.
@ShakinNotStirred im glad you get my point. And yeah me 2 lol, she had a bit of season 5 yeah your right, and a bit of season 7 and 8 with the "charges/whitelighter" bonds. And me 2 , with prue they had so many, with paige they had NONE!.... and hell yes ill miss it too, i watch the dvd's almost everyday
What season is this?. I really want to watch when this goes done. I thinks its funny when they to kill kill each other but can't cuz they are both invincible:D
I know, I liked him a bit at the start of season 5 because he was trying to be good and felt sorry for him because the girls kept shunning him, but it just kept striking me how awful he was to everyone else except Phoebe and especially Paige. He just couldn't understand that it hurt Phoebe to much that he had tried to kill her sisters that many times. Even when he was mortal he just couldn't understand humility and what it was to be human.
Paige and Cole were really interesting, despite how awful he was to her, when Phoebe was shunning him and Piper was more no comment about it, Paige tried to save him (In the episode where the demon of fear was planting thoughts in their head) and Paige had to apologize like a hundred times and they were still treating her like crap, she was trying to do the right thing and she didn't know what was really going on, she had no experience with the demon of fear before that. Of course that wasn't the only time where either Piper or Phoebe sided against Paige. That sort of thing never happened when Prue was around but I have to say that I was happy when Piper finally realized something was up with Cole. Even worse they were cruel to force Cole to take those powers back (I think Phoebe decided that so she could keep hating him and of course Piper always sided with her way before she would side with Paige who was completely against it) I mean wouldn't all the powers just go back to the waste land where Cole got them from? The only way they would exist beyond a demon dying is if they were stolen by the hollow and even then any power the hollow stole left the person when it was banished away (Like in the last episode when Piper/Grams/Mom banished the hollow, Wyatt got his powers back but if he had been dead they would of just went off with the hollow because the charmed ones lost the powers they stole from that demon at Phoebe's apartment.
My Fungasm finally somebody said it cole turned out this way because of pheobe everything little thing that went wrong in her life was coles fault when he wasn’t even doing any thing any demon that came there way instead of investigating like they normally do she automatically blamed cole and went running to his penthouse to put him down and tell him he’s evil and that he’ll never be good no matter how hard he tried that was her way of making her self feel better about her inner insecurities on whether or not she was truly evil herself deep down if she had left him alone & ironed out her issues on her own he would’ve never went mad
@@chinajohnson9805 You're dumb as hell. This relationship is a metaphor for addiction and toxic relationships. The whole point is that sometimes love is not enough when one partner can't beat his addiction or toxic habits, such relationships are doomed.
I love Cole! His love for Phoebe made me have high expectations on love definitely 😂 although I hated what the writers did with his character they could’ve done so much more instead of making him crazy and burn bridges with the charmed ones.
@ShakinNotStirred well i dont think the entire series is based on piper and leo. But their relationship does have a big part on the show, but thats normal cause she is one of the main characters and usually a show focuses on the main characters issues lol... but i think it was bad because we didnt see much from paige and piper. it was all about cole cole cole...
@kingTNAlover she was invincible to everything once upon a time when she was pregnant with Wyatt their first born.. if you notice the shield that forms around her when energy balls are thrown at her, its because of wyatt.
This episode shares something similar with Coyote Piper in that both Piper and Prue had to make critical decisions in saving their sister, and apparently, difficult ones as well. Here, Piper seemed powerless to decide yet by a strike of luck, she found a solution. In Coyote Piper, Prue did not have any guarantees whether her plan would work but still, lady luck was on their side. I dunno. Any thoughts? :))) #justsharing
One Derer Nice catch. I agree with that. How about the time in Season 2 where Piper and Phoebe lost Prue to one of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Piper and Phoebe had to choose between saving Prue or saving the world??!! And actually it was Prue and Phoebe having to decide to save Piper, since Piper was the one that was possessed😉
