A chartreux kitten came to me not too long ago while I was throwing out the trash .. glad I kept it Loves playing and is very quiet Love my little kittn
I felt happy when that cute Chartreux kitten was infront of my door, she looked so adorable with that light gray color and cute orange eyes, so I decided to keep it, well she's abandoned and I gave her everything, she's a very active kitten and she's so energetic, she loves being around me working, studying or doing whatever, she loves attention but I can give her that, and I felt more lucky when I knew it's a rare race with different stories about their race, anyways I still love her more than any domestic animal I ever had.
We had one that was a retired double grand show cat who bonded immediately with my half-French husband. The stories about their ancestors being brought back from Syria by the Crusaders have been proven to be true by genetic studies.
Mine died of liver cancer in November 2023, at the age of 14+. Official name Excalibur Croatian Blue, but we called him Neo. From day one he was a family member as much as I am. As we live in an apartment in downtown Zagreb, Croatia and not in a house, Neo was a home, clean cat. He loved to share the bed at night with my wife and me. Not a pervo, mind you, we were too old for that, Anyway, for all of his 14 years, each and every day, my Neo would gently wake me in the morning to go feed him and give him some fresh water. Around 10 in the evening, he would start showing me in his ways that it was time for me to go to bed. He would then lay beside me. I would hold my e-reader in my right hand and read. And with my left hand I would be patting and gently scratching Neo into his louder and louder purring, and then sleep. Good Lord, how I miss that beatiful, noble creature!!!! After all these months, just seeing a cat on TV more often than not starts me crying. Bless your beatiful soul, Neo, whever you are.
