I’m not a shredder , All my guitars are vintage style but this guitar seems like i it can do everything , ,I’m looking for something more modern that’s versatile, it sounds amazing , you did a great demo with some tasty playing 👍

@@surfrby8876 I got mine and it's amazing! The full shred pickup set is very versatile and it has coil tap switch for single coil sounds. The neck is SUPER comfortable. It's flatter than a strat but still has that feel. I couldn't be happier with mine

@@cbsaulren the HH model puts the pickups in parallel which is better as it will sound close to a true single coil but with no hum.

@bluwng I just bought this exact guitar in Chlorine Burst(2022 model with 1 string tree and staggered tuners) and its freaking amazing. Had to adjust the pickup height a bit but other than that, this thing was set up so well right out of the box. My new favorite guitar, and I'm a guy who plays mostly core PRS and MIJ Ibanez!

Great demo and playing as always. I would love to hear that dimed through your AC 30. It deserves a dive through a real tube amp. You are making me at least want to go play a Charvel. My Eastman Romeo DC with Lolar Pickups I ordered two years ago arrives next week. I havent bought a new guitar since I ordered the Eastman. Had to sell a MIJ Strat to get it :( But for now I can get my Charvel fix by listening to you. Thanks and stay well.

Hi.What a great guitar.The sound is brilliant.The tone in your Slow Melodic Blues Video was awesome(and your playing too)I saw this guitar on Thomann for 950€,here in germany.i really think about it the charvel will be my next guitar.At this time i use daily my Ibanez RG 350 BK and a Yamaha Pacifica.Thank you for the great review.Best regards Marc

I've got some classic guitars...les paul, , 335, strat, tele, gretsch. A couple of years ago I went on a search for a modern guitar that was not extremely expensive just in case I didn't gel with it. I finally settled for this Charvel in CHB having watched several YT reviews. I must say that the quality is superb, very comfortable to play and it has its own distinctive voice. Some, what I call "modern" guitars are, to my ears, rather sterile. But the DK24 has a certain organic and natural sound character. It's really versatile and for some reason makes me play differently to my other guitars. Some of my guitars will come and go but this one is a keeper.

I just purchased this exact guitar and finish but its the newer version with only 1 string tree and staggered tuners and MAN is this thing incredible. It was set up so well right out of the box. Just had to lower the pickup height a bit and this thing was sounding sweet. My new favorite guitar. The neck profile and the compound radius are to die for! This thing will stand up against MIJ Ibanez guitars, no problem!

Great review and fantastic playing as always! I'm wondering how you are finding the tuning stability of the guitar? The dk24 is quite notorious for that. Did you make any special adjustments?

Yes I removed the string tree for the D & G, and I also bought some Big Bends Nut Sauce for the nut. Works perfectly now. No issues at all.

Nice showcase! I am seriously considering getting this guitar. Not that it would change anything, but I am just curious. Are you able to see if it is a solid maple top or only a veneer? I can't fin the info anywhere.

why does this sound so much better than the HSH. the only difference is this is missing the SSL middle pickup. doesn't make sense to me but this sounds much better

How would you describe its neck against an Ibanez Wizard III ? I cant decide between this or the Ibanez RG631ALF. I already have a SoCal and love it, nos willing yo try 24 frets for the first time.

There can be issues, but i have found a way to fix it for me. First, I removed one string tree (d&g), and I also use a lubricant (Big Bends Nut Sauce). Plus, I also discovered that the bridge has to be parallell to the body. I discovered this when I tuned down to Eb and I couldn't keep it in tune. (It was relatively parallel, but it HAD to be exact. Once I did that it is solid as a rock.

Mine works great, too, aside from one problem: The high strings, for some reason, become sticky, after just two days' worth of playing. I never had this problem at all with my last guitar. Does anyone know what this could be and how to deal with it?
