Both sound so good, but the ebony has those upper mids that I love. Beautiful guitar playing, as well!!

Maple fingerboards and necks are essential for the classic strat sound imo

Wow great tones! It’s so hard to pick but the Ebony board sounded so smooth and round. Maple cut thru the mix tho!

How did you get the coil split sounds? I was told it didn’t have coil split!

in the descriptions it says the volume know is push/pull...

@@tomaslopez2940 As far as I understand the description, it's the volume pot that splits, not the tone pot, that is indeed a no-load pot... but I'll know soon for sure because I. have ordered the black version 😀

Today, my black version with the maple neck came. All in all a well-made guitar, though the neck wood is not of a very high quality. The action was set for fast playing, with some buzz, easy to change. But there is - contrary to what was said in the description of my shop - no coil splitting :(... My impression in the video is that the one with ebony fretboard is a bit darker in sound... anyway, the maple fretboard makes a bit bright, and the pickup combinations tend to go bright too; I'm not yet sure if I'll keep it, though I like the neck playability very much. I'm also impressed by the Floyd Rose system.
