Hey bro, in regards to this kit, i literally saw it today in a RHD dc2r that's K swap and been researhing all day on it cause it really caught my attention. How does it feel in your opinion like is it just as the OEM p/s wasnt deleted? Reason i'm a bit hesitant is because i've got a H22 in my EK and you know those engines are heavy already so ain't tryna fight my steering wheel 😂
Not bad at all, since these cars are so light it is still pretty easy to turn the wheels at a standstill, and while rolling there is not much difference besides better road feel!
Plus the shorter travel of PS fluid makes it better and stronger feel. I assume the diameter of the stock ps lines versus the Chase Bays is night and day in terms of size?
@KraftingKars, how's this set-up so far after 2 years? I want to do this power steering delete set-up too but i dont know if I can trust this set up. It'll only be a weekend car and track days twice a year.
I have had this thing for 2 years, would not recommend. It gets in the way of the t bracket, it leaks even when properly tightened from the bottom of the canister. Just get a normal loop kit.
Yep that's the point, you fill that canister with power steering fluid, and the lines run to your rack. Which keeps your rack lubricated, but also acts as a breather so you don't create any vacuum/pressure when turning. People who just loop the fittings on the rack usually blow out their seals
