There could have been a racial discrimination suit during the lease negotiations and her trying to terminate the agreement. But all the stuff that has happened since wouldn’t stand up in court as racial discrimination. Chase and his company haven’t been denied anything or harmed financially. You can’t sue on a feeling. Bethany can be prejudice in her thinking, which can get you fired, but might not get your company a win in a suit.

Not really they didn’t agree to anything other than talk. The Dad defended Bethany. The brother was the only one who tried to make accommodations. Chase should have never agreed to a 5 year lease in this economy especially with rigid enforcement of the rules and Bethany’s behavior from the onset. Natasha should have been there to present Chase’s concerns. Candace didn’t add much other than showing Chase could be considered a family man.

Chase has every right to be there. He did right to report her to the family. They needs to know what’s going on with her behavior. We should not give up every time we are discriminated against. We should fight for our rights every time by holding people accountable for their actions and behavior. We go through this every day. The reason they do this is because they THINK we will except anything. People are sadly mistaken we will not tolerate just anything. We will not accept anything. Chase has as much right as any body to be there if he wants to. Great job Chase for being a fighter, don’t Quit. Let her know she got the wrong one. If this continues they want have no one in the building because it’s going to go OUT of business with that behavior. And am sure family own doesn’t want that to happen

NEVER SIGN A LONG TERM LEASE without first seeing how the partnership is going to work. Sign a shorter lease (6 months/ 1 yr) and if everything goes well then sign a long term lease.

Always read the contract people. Dont sign anything unless you have a clear understanding. He admitted his wrong which go against the signed contract. just because they agree to talk to her doesnt mean anything changes. He lucked out bc they gave some grace. Lets see how it goes.

The brother and the grandfather understood exactly what Chase was talking about. Because they know how she is. Of course the dad is going to be on her side. She had to learn her ways from someone. And it is him. He would probably give them the same problems.
