They did throw the caution in time. There was over 1 mile of track before they got to Preece’s car when they threw the yellow. Why in the world would they immediately throw the yellow when there was no chance of a car getting even close to Preece’s for 30 seconds?

@@JJj-sb5pz Correct, he never got started (well, he did, then he stopped again). So they threw the caution at the appropriate time. The do not need to throw a caution immediately for a single car spin when no cars are going to make it back to him for over 40 seconds.

Agree. If you can't watch the race in real time and need to record the race to watch later, you have no real time notice they're switching channels... SOoLuck. What I've been doing since the switch to NBC, is record a couple of hours of whatever programming is on USA at the end of the scheduled NBC broadcast time slot (plus 90 minutes). Solves the problem but shouldn't have to do it in the first place. NoBodyCares, and that includes Nascar corporate.

Blaney knows that. All tracks the lane moves foward. They don’t take time never have re-racking the cars. Besides, they were headed for the green, they don’t wait on a car who pulls down pit lane to make his pit stop, the pack is taking the green. If they’d have waived the start put back under yellow for the field to rechoose on the 2.5 mile track, blaney would have run out anyway. The recoose lap 2.5 then come around to take green, 5.0miles,come around to takr wight, 7.5 run to the checker 10miles total. Blaney lost a lot of his fan base Sunday that didn’t know he had such a foul mouth. A lot of the drivers do but, it is not broadcast on social media, wher all the young kids can hear. I’m 72 and I don’t even like to hear it. Besides all of the above, the “golden boy” kept nascar and blaney, and the car owner from a controversial win. Short tracks, dirt tracks, road courses or Indianapolis, what are the odds and, How would you, you out of 36 entries, explain away, winning a race, at your car owner’s track.

Why would he restart behind someone who could easily run out of fuel on the restart. It’s just bad luck that Brad pitted seconds before the restart. Now letting Larson jump the restart is something else.
