Really appreciate how real you guys are! Being an AZ native and someone who loves OTC deer hunting here gets me jacked through the roof and waiting for December! Drew a unit 9 bull elk tag so hopefully gonna have an elk and deer in the freezer come December!

ARIZONA REALLY HAS THEIR ACT TOGETHER. ONE O.T.C. TAG LETS YOU HUNT 3 SEASONS ALTHOUGH MOST JUST HUNT DEC/JAN. BECAUSE OF THE HEAT. I ACTUALLY ENJOY BEING CHECKED BY GAME.WARDENS, VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. DONT SEEM TO HAVE THAT SWAT TEAM ATTITUDE OF OTHER STATES.

Digging your guys' films. I must say the archery hunts have an edge for me. Watching someone make a stalk happen and attempt a shot adds a whole other level to the hunt/film. I would love to see more!

This is a great example of what hunting is to most people and really related to the regular guy. Weekend hunters, hard to get time off from work and maybe never getting to bring home any meat but a lot of great experiences with friends and animals

I don't care what footage you lost, that film pretty much shows every thing , on 75% of archery hunts, it truly is the greatest sport in the world. I'm getting a Camera and gonna give it a try this next season , The only thing I wish more of the inter web hunters would talk about and make people more aware of is our shrinking public lands pretty soon. These animals will be gone and it will not be from hunters, but states saling off our public lands. On the west coast it's bad , Companeys like Weyerhouser, bought up lots of land in Oregon for logging , because Crook politicians, didn't have the sence to put Togather a lease program that would have made them keep the land open to public use, and now California, and the Federal government fight for the rights to sale that public land !

The Mountain Project well dumped alot $ well alot to me on DLSR got a Panasonic fc300, I think is what it's called and then I got a Panasonic Hc-v180k, that I can Mnt on my head , with a camsack .ordered it of Amazon today just waiting on it .,but Thank you, What other cameras do you use ?

you ever hunt anywhere else? i think everywhere has better otc hunts than az. and i hunt/live in az, but you should check out otc whitetail back east. what az has up on other states, though, is public land. AZ might have one of the worst deer hunts in the US, but we have killer public lands.

if you can kill deer regularly in AZ, you can be a legend in the east. it's kind of boring back there, really. i'll take AZ any day!! maybe your right, we have the toughest OTC, and maybe that's what makes it the best!!

Define “best”. Arizona is definitely the hardest state to hunt deer otc. With a bow. Most of the state is flat open lands with small hills and occasional bush. The other portion is dense forest lands, cold as hell during the late season archery hunt. You are not allowed bait of any kind in Arizona. Which Means you will have to hike an 10+ miles a day up and down mountains to maybe find a deer. Don’t get me wrong I love hunting in the high desert during the rut season, but it is very difficult. In Utah, I can get an over the counter deer, elk and get a kill same day.

It's a blast! I lived there for three years and had a lot of fun. I am back in Texas now, but will be going back soon to do some more Mule deer hunting!
