@@Larry At least there are other racing games related to Chase H.Q. including: Gaelco's Tokyo Cop, released in 2003 and Sammy's unreleased Chase 1929 Chicago (which thankfully was found in Galloping Ghost Arcade), slated released in 2004 While Chase H.Q 2 was ran on the Taito Type X board, Tokyo Cop ran on Gaelco's very own PC based Arcade system, and Chase 1929 Chicago ran on, one of my personal favorites, the Sammy Atomiswave.

It used to be in my arcade centre when I was 6 or 7 and the graphics were awesome

Just realized that the 90's arcade games are significantly better than those 2007 coarse cel shading, technically zero. Just for Sega, from 93 to 96 Daytona USA, Scud Race, Sega Rally ... Outrun 2 of 2003 far surpasses this species of turd who does not bring anything technically. Cel shading for games like that, is only disguise the technical poverty that shame the arcade 90's (they had already tried to us sell for good price* their game ps2 cel shading, which did not cheat anyone at this time, except a few rare exceptions that have been pretty well worked in this mod, Sly style, or jet set radio on DC). Imagine Initial D in cel shading ... disgusting! *Sell for gold prices, these technical drafts, which were not worth much compared to the productions of the moment (the games did not have the same competition as now, as the music industry and the sale by download, the dematerialized ). Hoping that this way of reasoning is not lost, otherwise we are ready and good to eat all the shit they will sell us. Arcade 90's are ashamed to this game (me too😫) All means were good to sell in the shortest possible time(in start of cel shading big development in video game),it was above all for commercial reasons, and also / especially technical, at the time where the games were very long to program ... Games that have only a shimmering visual appearance, but nothing technical level nor no replayability. Even to deceive us on the technical aspect, thanks to this visual style (which of course if it is well adapted to the game, and that it is well worked can to be good), at the time of the photorealistic games which still have a lot of difficulty to be even more realistic,in same time the arcade games have of the future still. No, this is played on the original arcade machine.

Real Name This was legitimately recorded from a Chase HQ 2 arcade machine. If it was a rom I would have no hesitation in admitting so. The converter I used scaled the image to 1280x720. For a more accurate image I should have set the converter to a lower res output, but when I recorded this I had less of an idea of what I was doing...
