I've been hospitalized three times for bipolar disorder. Still working on my recovery story and changing my narrative. In other words, redefining what bipolar disorder is, and what it means to have a diagnosis. So easy to accept stigma and limited thinking. Impact Theory helps me overcome limiting beliefs.

Wow! Most couldn't possible imagine. Incredible. "Bipolar" is big deal. But I wonder what other 99.6% of yourself is that's waiting to shine through...

I suffered with bipolar disorder (misdiagnosed as anxiety and adhd) for 20 years. Life was chaos and destruction. I was finally able to get a good doctor, a medicine that worked, and a recovery program that includes meditation and delving into internet content like this. I feel a million times better than I ever have. Stigma can suck it! Don't ever give up on yourself, and def keep watching this channel because it has helped me big time!

As a creative person myself, it's so amazing to hear the importance of creativity as a core value. Besides, the visualisation technique of smelling the grass & Using all the senses is so powerful. Took away so much from this episode as always. Thank you for your awesomeness !

What can I say but thanks, yet again! I've seen Chase Jarvis interviewed a few times now & this is, by far, my favourite. I love how deep you got him to dig as I learnt so much more, not just about Mr Jarvis, but also about my own creative struggles. He strikes me as a man that is not only greatly talented but also humble & generous. I can see why you wanted him in front of you on the comfy chair Tom! I look forward to the 'after' session, I will have a notepad ready (who needs college? Heh heh. . . ) 🌹

I love how he reframes his answer at the end from fear to what an incredible time we're living in to have access to so much knowledge. Reframing my thoughts... one of many lessons I'm going to take away from this episode! Great interview @Chase Jarvis and @Tom Bilyeu!

Just wow. This episode was so so valuable, and overall, these are the 3 main words I took: higher level thinking. A near death experience shouldn't need to be the thing that makes you realise what you want to do in the world, thank you both so much for this episode!

Another great one here, I was already a fan of Chase's work and his interviews. Really enjoyed the conversation. I will also deep dive on meditation to see what I think. I love how you both came out and admitted the motivation for the show was to learn and sit with people who inspire you. The value to community is an added benefit. I find myself on a similar path. The network is forming itself.

i'm glad i finally gave chase a chance. while i'll admit that i held off this interview for a very long time because to me i didn't believe that he had anything really worth sharing as a top photographer but he had just as much, if not more, than the biggest entrepreneurs of our time. my close-mindedness almost made miss out on such an amazing interview. his visualization practice is extremely interesting and powerful. now i have to watch it 10 more times. again, thanks tom!

Thank you both, not for your books or companies, but for THIS CONVERSATION! I can't get over the synchronicity of it. It's mind blowing how many times I randomly click an Impact Theory episode that is totally in alignment with what I'm noodling at that moment... (DOES THIS HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE!?) but THIS video was such crazy timing I had to come back and leave this message. On March 29, I published program about rewriting your life story... so I've been researching and writing about this topic non stop for a month. The VERY next morning, I opened RU-vid and this interview with Chase Jarvis popped up--first video. So, I clicked, thinking it was about "the dangers of playing it safe"... but I found that Chase was speaking about his passion for "inspiring people to live their potential and live their OWN dreams, not everyone else', and write their own stories." This is the EXACT message of my course! I could not be more passionate about this topic. I am so grateful you are both using your reach to help people take their power back! Thank you.

Great episode with 2 powerhouse entrepreneurs! I did the visualization thing as well growing up with sports as my escape. I had to visualize myself making key plays in the big game so I would follow suit when the opportunities actually arose instead of freezing up. It's interesting to hear that Tom has a hard time visualizing concrete ideas before they happen as I'm the exact opposite. I have to absolutely see something through before I ever start it. Now that I no longer play sports and just started a creative agency, I have picture myself sealing deals with ideal clients. I have to visualize the type of work I want to do versus the work that is easiest to do. This all helps incredibly well when the secondary thoughts come into play and when you start having the wrong questions come into your mind. Grateful to know that these two along with all of their followers including me, all have similiar thought processes and questions in lives about what is the best steps.

Could you please invite Ramit Sethi to talk about social skills? In my opinion, this is a big issue nowadays. I've recently move to Bucharest and I have problems to socialize. People prefer spending time in the same environment or group and it's hard to get in or accepted. I've noticed that people prefer VR, or they live in the past and get depressed or they live in the future/dreaming and they become agitated. The present is very important and few can live and act in the present. This is another subject that could be interesting to talk about. Thanks and congratulations for your good job!

I have a creative/musical side in me that's been caged ever since i can remember. I've just recently come to realize the degree of injustice that i'm doing to that side of me. Currently being in 3rd year Medical school, i'm trying to be smart about the process by not quitting school, and solely going on to pursuing music. Instead, I'm going to treat my medical career as the big steak on the plate (in Gary vaynerchuk's words) and music as a side dish. I hope that is the right way to go about with this!

I love your channel! Each and every interview is inspiring and gives me perspective. I have a request for you. Can you please interview somebody who moved to the states on work employment visa and was able to become a successful millionaire entrepreneur. The reason of my request is that I watch a lot of interviews of top achievers but they are all citizens and have a privilege to pursue any opportunity without the fear of leaving the country. Whereas people on visa are unfortunate and stuck with the job they don't like. I would truly appreciate if you could explore the mindset of one of the top achievers who is on visa. Thank you for the wonderful channel. It truly is amazing!

It was interesting how he stifled his creativity by playing the role he believed he was expected to play. I think this is probably related to why he thinks we need more feminine energy in the world. Creating is often related to a free spirited enterprise which, like meditation can be seen as soft and feminine. Those norms are not helpful and keep many people, men especially playing a tough guy role that is dehumanizing and soul killing. Chase, thanks for being a great example of stepping off the conveyor belt into the open range, living on purpose.

19:52 "working on Feminine energy". I highly doubt anybody really knows what pure primal "feminine energy" (Yin force) really 'IS'. If they would really know they would not say it like that. So we can see it's all fun & games to do these, I must say entertaining and interesting talks, but the real depth of going where no man... has gone before is entirely something else.
