So proud of her! I don't know how high this was but it was 4 or 5 from the top of the wing so definelty higher than last time ☺ so proud im speechless😇
Tessa Böhmer it was maybe because the other Girl did not want to be videoed and if you did see her jump the video would of been very long!! You and Candy did a great job!!😎
It's not true... Her horse is just a good horse... She did everything wrong... The only thing that was good.. Was the direction.. Stop.. There is no impulse.. She looks down.. I don't know why people make these teen jump so high without teaching them the basics...
@@Valentina-vd2lz i dont think thats fair. all youre seeing is a few c,ips of her jumping, shes probably not jumping that high on a regular basis and this was just a fun thing. also you dont know anything about the horse and how it rides. dont judge her when you dont know anything about her
@@serena-pk5zp I just said what I think about what I saw 😅 and I just saw a good horse jumping and a bad rider. I don't do that kind of things for fun, knowing that my horse can get hurt.
@@Valentina-vd2lz i get what youre saying but i dont think that her horse is going to get hurt by jumping poles. she seems like a really good horse and she can clear the jumps ok. if shes regularly jumping that high then thats different, but i dont think its dangerous to be jumping a bit higher once in a while. her horse is taking good care of her.
Wow watched your last chase me Charlie then this one, amazing to see how much you've both improved! You're a great rider and Candy looks lovely well done ❤️
Good jumping over there! You certainly can be proud of that achievement :) I'm already happy if I can jump a couple of obstacles, like 5 or 6, on a low level, since I got scared of it after falling in competition a couple of times xD
I know its very scary when you lose your confidence over riding but my best advice is to get right back into jumping because the longer you leave it the more of the chance you will never do it again! Start by baby steps , Just try cantering over ground poles and do some trotting poles and practice your jumping position over them and make sure your giving your horse lots of leg and the correct aids. Then gradually build up into small cross poles , because cross poles are great because they help you get a straight line. Remember to keep berthing and ride your horse or pony as confident as you can , lots of leg , good contact (short reins) and a good line coming into your fence , you will be fine. If you want try put your hands up the neck of your horse coming to a jump to help you get into a position quickly if your horse jumps the fence too long or too deep.If the horse or pony you ride is naughty and likes to refuse or run out , try turn shorty into your fences so the horse doesn't have time to look at it , Make sure you have even and strong contact again lots and lots of leg i mean squeeze every step and kick and be as confident as you can! You will get there! Im sure it will work out for you because losing confidence is not fun , of course there is no need to rush it start small and very slowly build it up , you will be fine! x
I refused to jump anything over 2ft when that happened to me, but one day my friend comes to me and is like "Hey, I need to rate up (in pony club) so... can I use Rex? the jumps are 18" (Rex is 30 years old btw) so I said yes, knowing he could do it. The day of the rating she comes to me and says "well... they change the height. they want me us two rates so.. it`s now 2' 3"." and I have never jumped rex over 2'. but I trusted her and rex and let her do it. The jumps were a lot smaller than I thought so when she was done, I took my new horse over them! And now I`ll jump anything!
I go to that horse riding barn and my name is Ella and to prove that I go to that barn I will tell you a bit about it he teachers are Sophie Lauren and loyd a few horses sunny and daisy and the riding school is poplar farm
wow i would dream to do that! today my horse jumped for the first time. only 10cm but i’m so proud of her because when i first rode her she was a total problem horse and i was a beginner. now she is getting way better with me, as i’m moving into a higher novice.🥰
I went riding there there so nice I love Jackie she helped me so much with riding I love sunny holly drummy paddy and daisy oh ye and bob it was brill xx
CountingStrides some horses need a tighter reign before a jump to keep them together. otherwise they may get too deep and the stride might get too long.
I agree. The horse needs to be kept off the forehand when jumping bigger to achieve a good shape over the fence so a good rein contact and seat is essential.
I remember doing this and i didn't have the best experience. I had a pony that was really fiery and we played Chase me Charlie. As we slowly started to get higher like 1m10 it was all going well i felt happy with that hight so i asked my instructor if i could stop and she said no. So we cleared 1m20. As soon as we got to 1m30 my pony got his legs in between the poles and we flipped he almost landed on top of me but i managed to get out the way. I got up and checked on Flash and he was fine. The next day i had black bruises on my neck. That was the last time i played Chase Me Charlie.
Well done Just one thing, make sure to enter a jump on the correct leg as a few times you were on the right canter lead instead of the correct one, left. And that can make you and your horse unbalanced. No hate
