Chase Report week 9 2021 part 3/3: Matchbox 2021 mainlines, 9-packs & fuel station

The Hotwheels logo on the package shows that both the Matchbox playsets and the Hotwheels playsets will connect to each other. Unfortunately, most Walmart's got rid of the 9 packs for the spring reset. Hoping they return in the mid summer resets.

I had many of the Majorette sets in the early eighties and have fond memories of the towns I built with them. There were footpaths complete with lamp posts and flowerpots. May have to pick this MB service station up. Thanks for the review, CDC! 👍🇦🇺

I'm already happy we got some of the matchbox action dr... I thought the hot wheels logo on the box means that hot wheels diorama connect with the action diorama?

I've got the 1948 Willys Jeep the Chow Mobile || and the 59 Dodge Cornet!

So, I haven't seen these diorama sets in stores here, but I'm sure they'll be over $25. That Plymouth Savoy is very very accurate, great casting! Although tons of Hot Wheels have shown up over the last 2 weeks, Matchbox are still rare? The 9 Packs go for $20 now, not $10. That MGB GT is nice, but they need to recolor and do the headlights. I just picked up the RCMP version of that Caprice for you. The gold Challenger is very nice. The XTerra and the 56 Ford pickups are my favorite from the second pack. Great show my friend!

The savoy looks pretty good, it doesnt looks like matchbox diecast

Awesome show, love the Matchbox Petrol Station, I have seen a few of the new playsets but theres no way Im buying them here, they are over $30 Aud. I will if they go on sale :) I almost bought the Savoy, I wish I did now but I bought something much better. I havnt found much lately, barely anything actually so its awesome to see you get them first :) The no interior thing is really disappointing, Matchbox will very quickly lose the collector market if they start doing it to more castings, I never even look at Maisto mainlines anymore, they are junk. Their large scale cars are great but far too expensive still. Love the 9 pack exclusives, they range from $18 - $24 Aud here so I usually dont buy them as I can get most cars in the mainline, I really like the old surf truck, thats a cool one

Oh if i could find that 9 pack with gold Challenger, would buy it only for that car, remaining 8 car, not interested. Love Challengers they are the on second place just behind Nissan Skyline R32.

i think the rockshocker is nice...imagine the toyota hilux which top gear couldnt destroy...thats when they made the rockshocker out of its remainings...every one knows that...? or not?
