this video was just now the very first thing I have ever heard or seen of chase tag and found the good sportmanship instantly noticable. Great to see that smaller sports (in terms of popularity and big money involved) still have that.

With how great both teams are, it’s hard to tell who would win in that matchup. I love team Apex ETH to death, but maaaan. Orlando and his team are just insane. With how fluid, quick, agile, and smart they are on the quad, they’re definitely a top 5 team for me. Maybe even a top 3. It all depends on how the rest of the teams outside the UK have improved since we’ve last seen them perform in WCT. Like United and Blacklist

@@traceurs619 There should be another french team in the WCT 5. They are called team Broco, and they won the wct France, beating united in the finals. Not bad for beginners !

When is the tournament?

@@Heineck19 it takes place at the end of May. I want to say 27th-29th. It should air on ESPN shortly after. And on this channel in about 4-6 months.

I also think the mid-air tag wouldn't have to have happened if Luke hadn't reacted to Richard's incoming tag by trying to leap over it (which I think Luke tried to do in response to it, which I don't blame him for it, because people would've probably reacted the same way based on their instinct). Had Luke not tried to jump and decided to land immediately, then the tag wouldn't probably have to happen mid-air, but I think the tag would've still happened. I just think that was still a great tag nonetheless, and I hope both players still maintain a good sportsmanship over what has transpired.

No why did he "have to". He was surprised that the other guy jumped. And indeed there was no reason to jump. Thats why the yellow card feels kinda weird to me in this situation.

@@jwrathall No offense to the safety of the players, but wouldn't that make the game harder (I'm referring to your third sentence)? I'm afraid that kind of thing could get exploited by the evader looking for ways that could result in a mid-air tag.

@@movingartillery5718 Thats exactly what I am getting at. It was exploited in this situation, although he probably did not actively chose to do so. He jumped as a reaction to the chaser cutting him off, not because he had something to jump to. And if you look at the face of the chaser and the way he pulls his arm back once he realizes that he touched the other guy in midair shows that he didnt have bad intentions and was surprised by the jump. But the commentatot calls it "the definition of an aggressive tag" and he gets a yellow card.

I suspect they're actually made of rubber.

@@oceanrocks with the right team, yes. What a team like that would look like, is one that invests in their athletes, with a captain that unifies their athletes, has the capabilities to motivate. It's impossible to pay the bills from this so keeping the passion alive and dispelling toxicity is important so as to make it worth it.

Where are you in the world? Joining the Discord server (link in video description) would be a good start. A lot of the athletes are on there, and are happy to share advice.

Can you list the US teams who will be in the worlds as well?
