you don't need to be fazed great white sharks aren't actually that aggressive there not the killers everyone thinks they are they might kill 5 people a year but we are more aggressive than them we kill over 100,000,000 sharks a year around 11,000 in an hour
I have a hard time getting surfers on camera for my channel. Most don't want to appear. Mine is a bit more science based, but perhaps we should team up Jamie and get some shark action? You'd be surprised what I find near surfers!

Hey JOB in the last 6 years I have had at least 50 encounters with Juvenile White Sharks in that area! I will admit the only time I get nervous is if they are hunting/tracking where I am surfing! It is evident Blair doesn't get down towards trestles often 2 not have encountered a shark in the water!
I posted pictures on your Facebook Wedge part 2 of an encounter I had with 2 fisherman at Trail1! They used a chum bag and a hobie kayak and dropped bag and baited hook right where I was surfing and caught a shark in 5 minutes landed it on the beach and then released it! and this is not even my scariest story I have!
My scariest story was I saw a massive shark fin as soon as I sat on my surfboard on the outside! Ten minutes later a guy paddles out and I say hey I think I just saw a massive shark and he said ya it chased me out about 45 minutes ago! 5 minutes later I see the massive fin coming towards me and it swam right underneath me 2 check me out! Easily 15 footer it was as wide a a VW bug! I paddled in and stayed in that day!
Tina is definitely the tastiest but no mountain lion ... We see sharks in the line up here on east coast & we just look at each other & shrug our shoulders because they are all small friendly guys... We just pick our feet up out of the water until they pass... no seals here & no Great Whites ... they after baitfish. Only want your toes if they look like a fish or if you kick them in the head. Some days I see 100's of sharks attacking schools of bait fish & know I am safe a hundred feet away. Fact = More shark deaths & attacks in the US this year that all of AUS & pacific Islands! I think 10 folks died in US from shark attacks this last year & 40+ attacks ... I like SE coast sharks because they usually can only bite off a foot & not a whole leg ;)
They got to be over 12 feet before they’re going to make a meal out of one of you guys, Them 10 footers love eating rays. Check out the Malibu Artist’s videos. It was just curious. Skivvies session!
They're out there. Joe Caruso (San Pedro) netted a 4,000 lb. 16 footer in 1994 -mid channel Point Vicente. That shark's liver weighed 1,200 lbs. Ralph Collier's Pacific Coast Shark news is a good resource .
Always like the shows - great Murf bikes - gotta get one - Normal time of year for Spring Great White Juveniles checking out the section the San Clemente waters- just glad nobody got injured - awesome log skim session - so fun 🤩
grew up there, surfed this area for years and most of the guys surfing are well aware. This is not a rare occurrence in that area. I'm sure they let people know but the locals don't care much lol
Two great white sharks swimming in the ocean spied survivors of a sunken ship. "Follow me son" the father shark said to the son shark and they swam to the mass of people. "First we swim around them a few times with just the tip of our fins showing." And they did. "Well done, son! Now we swim around them a few times with all of our fins showing." And they did. "Now we eat everybody." And they did. When they were both gorged, the son asked, "Dad, why didn't we just eat them all at first? Why did we swim around and around them?" His wise father replied, "Because they taste better if you scare the crap out of them first!"
Beautiful but terrifying animals. 6-8 ft likely a curious juvenile and more common to be closer to shore than a big adult. Living in West Australia, I’d still shit myself regardless of size.
Thursday at Blacks beach we had 7-8 ft juvenile swimming around us for four hours. He got 4 inches away from my friends leg. That was pretty psycing because at the time we didn’t know there was a shark in the water. He was cruising real slow and we stayed out. We believed he was eating rays but a small dead seal was later found dead on the beach.
im not a surfer, just love to see this surfvlogs over a long time. you guys are never be afraid of sharks? i cant believe it - maybe because i never surfed or grow up with them. are sharks for you surf boys just like a cute dog on the street? :D
A dodgy day dodging hungry things in the water... too bad, that looked like great Tina sized waves... FREAKING AWESOME music choice @11:10!! I don't know how you keep finding this awesome stuff but keep it up!!!
Haha loved seeing Blaire and his girl so cute little lovies. Tina I am so sorry for your close call. That only happened to me once (that I was aware of) and I was shaken for weeks. I have seen sharks a handful of times while in the water chillin or cruising by but what you described is that shark trying to figure out if you are a seal or not and tracking you to get a taste. The energy is totally different and terrifying. Here in Oregon I watch from above before I get in below but still it's always on my mind. Good job watching out and getting to shore. JOB pingpong tourney with Blaire has to become a thing! Haha so psyched! Another fun vlog 🌺🤙🏼🤩🤙🏼🌺
Hey Jamie and Tina and crew. Love your videos. BTW, got the Catch Surf pink 5’8” JOB Pro with the high performance pink fins. Amazing shortboard. So fast, so sticks to my feet, super sick snaps and barrel chaser for sure. Love it!!!
Glad you kept on surfing as mainland east coaster surfer Florida pretty much sharks always out there you just don’t see them all the time cuz of water clarity stay psyched
