Those guys embarrassed a lot of hi up people in the Australian government that weekend.From memory,the chasers appeared in court and got fined something like $10K each for trespassing.

Nope, all the charges against the crew involved with the stunt (Chas, Julian and 9 other people) were dropped several months after the incident (and a couple of months before they were supposed to front up to court), mainly because the New South Wales DPP (Director of Public Prosecutions) felt the police gave them "tacit permission" to enter the restricted zone.
