Compilation of our birding trips from the month of July 2021. Some highlights were the 7 new species of birds that we’ve seen for the first time in the wild (Rusty-breasted Cuckoo, Slaty-breasted Rail, a pair Thick-billed Green Pigeons, a pair of Chestnut-bellied Malkohas, a family of Short-tailed Babblers, Dark-necked Tailorbird, a pair of Chestnut-winged Babblers).
In addition, we’ve spotted not just birds but also a pair of Dusky Leaf Monkeys.
We’ve been hearing news that some migrant birds have been spotted and slowly coming back to Singapore as early as late July (have not seen any yet) so if you’re waiting for the migration season to arrive then you can start to be on a lookout and see which one you’re gonna encounter first. Hope to see more local/migrants birds or any type of wildlife this August.
Again, thank you all for the support and see you all in the field. Be safe, just shoot, enjoy and happy birding!
