Awesome fishing trip and great result, we have no ice-fishing in Down Under, very interesting to watch, excellent catch, tight lines and greetings to all, Tony.
You got me "hooked" and anxiously waiting for part 2. What a reward of some beautiful Lake Trout. Wish I could have helped as your 2nd man on that dual hookup. Sure enjoy your fishing content, keep it rollin.
@@OLDHATOUTDOORS I live by Lake Simcoe up in Ontario. We have mainly perch, lakers and whitefish but I fish for a nice feed of jumbo perch. Ice conditions have been terrible this year with a really late start but we managed to get out and bring back some for a couple of fish fries. Looking forward to your part 2. Have been enjoying the Cascade videos - what a lake that is. I've caught one two pounder out of our lake over many years but Cascade is amazing. Continued good fishing👍
I feel your pain on the slush. Its been really bad around here to his year going all the way back to December. That is an awesome tagged laker! Great Slave worthy.
I would love to see you make a video of summertime fishing video on this lake. I did quite well last year with kokanee that are making a nice comeback there, but had no idea how to target these monsters.
How many fish are they tagging out there?! Damn. I’m from northern Minnesota and I’ve got family in the panhandle of Idaho. Love your huntin and fishin videos!
Are you at priest? Aren't you required to keep lake trout? Why would you put it back with it bleeding so bad. And it had a tag which means it could have been worth a lot of money
Nope to Priest and no you're not required to keep lake trout where we were. And the tag, if you watched the video was a $50 tag. And regarding the bleeding...yes, it was unfortunate that it came up bleeding but we cut the line quickly and returned it to the water as it was not bleeding from the gills. Those fish are pretty darn tough and I believe it will be just fine.
