Sean, you are as good as episode 4. You understand the emotion. You know the and understand the goal. You buy into the missing. You know how to execute. Respect to you.
Brother, best review on Chasing the Sun. RESPECT! I am a South African who lived in Boston and New York for a few years. Tried to explain what this game means to South Africans but now I'll just show them this video! Love your work! One thing to explain Fate vs Destiny. In the case of Fate there is nothing you can do about it... its Devine order. Where as destiny is something you co-create with that Devine force. For example , you see a girl at a coffee shop randomly, you both there at the same time...FATE. You ask the girl for her number...DESTINY ! The Boks gave their hearts and souls to win the games they had to play at the World Cup and earned their DESTINY!.
Methinks we are using different dictionaries, or you aren't using one at all. Destiny: 1) the future destined for a person or thing; fate 2) the predetermined or inevitable course of events Collins Dictionary.
Amazing review, Brother. You superbly grasped the essence of all aspects of the episode; the technical aspects, the tactical nuances, the emotional impact of the game and what it meant to the players, coaching staff and fans. We all had some thug tears....some had rivers of thug tears. Can't wait for your review of the last episode. Regards from Cape Town, South Africa.
Well articulated, in the France game it was about executing the plan, making key decisions in specific moments, being switched-on all the time to meet the biggest challenge... then against England, being quite a bit drained, to respond when the plan is failing, and it seems like nothing is working, what do you do, you need to tap into something else, something deeper to overcome the challenge... now for the final (Felt like the Boks went through the gauntlet in this world cup)
If emotion was a person!! Mbongi is a special dude for real...and he is human after all. For this episode it was about big boys but they showed how much work they do to carry the team to victory. The Ox said it, he won't kick to the posts or give the last pass but he will influence the game in his own way...after watching this episode i feel like the man is the real timer in the "bomb squad"
Great in depth review on episode 4... love your knowledge and appreciation for the scrum so made this review even more better. Bongi actually posted on Instagram asking South Africa if they were all doing fine on Monday morning ....because every South African who watched Episode 4 cried at the end.. every single person. So thanks for a great review
Rugby is like a Ferrari motor vehicle. Backline- SLEEK FAST BEATIFULL LINES AERODYNAMIC. but it ain't worth nothing without the powefull engine and that engine is the FORWARDS.
Pieter Steph Du Toit.. PTSD master. Silent but violent ❤🇿🇦 We love our Springboks to bits because they are just great ordinary human beings who are willing to show their love for this country and its people each time they get on that field. 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Dude, found this late. As an American/South African, appreicate your deduction and appreciation for the game. We should watch party the next South Africa Vs New Zealand game Aug 31
Our whole country of 60 million people unbeknown to us all shared that moment with Bongi. We all experienced that in one form or another. That clip sums up the whole South African story of WC 2023. Well done editor for including that footage.
We might not be the best playing rugby nation in the World but we're the best at playing the way we want to play and we've got heart. We know the why. Why you play.
I had a whole thing, planned for this reaction. But I feel South Africa has shown enough, of what we do, and how we do it. If it doesn't make sense to you by now. Maybe read a book or two. Mostly, the inspiration in this country is unreal, and you try to compare it to other countries, everyone thinks their country is the best... Right?
Not sure if you’re saying that I need to read a book or if it’s just general but if that is to me, I think YOU might be the one not understanding me. Every other comment if you look seems to understand what I’m saying.
@@RareSoulTV I wish to reply when I have not had the quantity of beer I've had at this moment. So Yeh I'm not a politician, and also not a saint. Yet you need to own up now, and heed you premise.. Oh gosh, here we go...
Hope you managed to watch it cause it's a really good Doc. Congrats on drawing the series here in SA, to me you are the best team in the world. Springboks needed to win 2-0 in order they are the best. A draw mean you above all teams coz we always lose in Dublin.
