My first time finding this podcast and love it! I got my first camera for my 9th birthday and it was also a 110. I fell in love with photography and still love it. I also love the outdoors and that is my favorite photography subject. If I had known in high school that I could get a degree in photography and have a job in it I would have never went another direction. Instead, photography was presented as a fantasy job that you couldn't make a living at and that I should pursue something more "sensible". In my heart, though, I never stopped being a photographer. Irwin you are now added to my list of photography "heroes" I look up to. I dream of the day I could do this for more than my own pleasure hobby.

I didn't know that "Uncle Marvin" who is my Grandpa, was the influence for Chris to get into photography.

That's funny: I was taught, not sure who told it, when you walk in a building like a hospital and you hope no one stops you , not that you are doing anything wrong, but maybe there are too many in the room for one person, but walk in and have confidence and act as though you know what you are doing and figure out where you need to go. You'll get in and past the brigade 99 percent of the time.
