Very interesting. I have never seen a GP-38 with three radiator fans before. I would almost say that the GMTX unit is a GP-40, but I could not hear any sound of a turbocharger. I wonder if the unit is some sort of re-build?

I Saw GATX/GMTX GP38-2 #2693, As The Middle Locomotive On A 106-Car CSX Manifest Freight Train June Of Last Year.

What switching did they do at the 10:00 mark? There was 2 guys in the cab, and they only stopped for a minute then poured the fuel to it to get moving on the hump. Made for a great shot, but no idea why they did that.

It appears that GATX unit is a lease. The W&W marked may be as well. I do like the W&W paint :) Beautiful scenery on this long chase. Thank you very much!
