Join us on an epic adventure as we hike to Chasm Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park! 🌄 This hike was truly one for the books, offering some of the most breathtaking views we've ever encountered. Our journey took us 6.5 hours to complete, covering 9.18 miles with a challenging elevation gain of 2,711 feet. We followed the Longs Peak trail up to the junction, where we broke off to Chasm Lake, nestled beneath the towering East Face of Longs Peak. The scenery was absolutely stunning, from alpine meadows to the crystal-clear waters of the lake itself.

Thanks for the video. I was there with my son, 3rd week of July, we got the only empty parking space. We got tired right about where you are at 5:17 and so we turned around, but it was cool to be hiking the Long's Peak trail after watching a lot of RU-vid videos there.

Hey! So great to see you guys back on RU-vid! You all look fit and healthy, and great choice on trail video-it’s on my list. Good timing too as my daughter and I are heading to RMNP over Labor Day week for 3 days b4 heading to Denver and a few 13ers and 14ers! Mt. Ida is our crown jewel hike for RMNP this year. The first time I went to chasm lake was august 1962 with my dad. I was 10 years old. This brought back memories. Your still pics are fantastic!

@@KarthikGanesanGK You never know what the weather is going to be like. It can change on a dime, so a little luck is always required, especially with the wind. We were in Estes Park for three weeks and waited for the best possible weather to make the trek. Also, you must always be at the trailhead no later than sunrise.
