Hi Dave, sorry had to leave the stream when friends arrived at the campground. I loved the movie talk afterwards when I was catching up. I would suggest as a just feel good movie is " My favorite year" it's a early 80's period piece with Peter O'Toole. Excellent movie
Lolita was remade, and I prefer that remake to the Kubrick film. Jeremy Irons is fantastic in it. Plus the casting in the era Kubrick’s Lolita was made, almost every film had an old guy romantically paired up with a very young girl. Do that with Jeremy Irons and it has more impact years later.
Spiceworld was the worst movie ever made. Friends dragged me to go see it on 50 cents night at the dollar theater. I still felt ripped off. Waterworld was another bad 50 cents show I saw. I fell asleep through most of it.
