Welcome to the Chat Room SEIBI! This is a series of videos in which researchers at #NMWATokyo from different fields of research talk about and discuss a variety of topics.
In the second episode, KAWASE Yusuke who curated the current exhibition, “Imaged and Imagined” and HAKAMATA Hiroyo, curator of Painting and Sculpture, discuss the Spanish influence on French art, using Berthe Morisot’s “Woman in Black (Before the Theater)”, one of the works on view, as a point of departure.
