I can never tell with her but I'm pretty sure that she was pushing him to take the deal. Especially when she said "I just gotta get this music off the ground then I got you." I don't think Maurice is gonna fall for it though. I wouldn't be surprised if he was recording that conversation too.

I think in Chastity's situation she was so focused on getting her business handled that she really wasn't trying to hook up with the Red Bull chick. I'm glad she did though because I don't think we've ever seen Chastity just live a little. Even in situations where everybody around her is kicking back she's looking for her next come up. She's literally always hustling. I loved their scenes together and I love seeing the softer sides of Chastity.

I hope ...I wondered if she was really feeling her or she felt pressure cause of the career possibilities for her artists. I was starting to wonder if Chastity was asexual. The way we have never seen her with anybody and she wasn't picking up the thread of the flirting at all until it was just absolutely undeniable. The girl came on kind of hard and was well aware that she holds some power there.

Man I don't know if I'm mad at Mia or Lamont. They got to stop playing games with eachother. I really love that Lamont is a great father and I enjoy his scenes with Melissa. I hate Lamont went so low with the comment about Mia's mom. At the same time, Mia can't keep turning Lamont on and off like a light switch.

Can we talk about how sassy Melissa was in this episode and how she was much more sweet and cute earlier on. Curious if we’re going to see Mia and Melissa’s relationship become strained or Melissa act out in some way. It definitely seems to parallel the ways Mia has been acting lately.

Duke is being hesitant to mix business with pleasure but someone is going to feel used In the entanglement. Shauna is plotting and keeping ole boy close like duke told her to. And she may make a deal with Fransica (Frannie pants) at the same time duke come thru too. Which may lead to conflict. Mia is in a two can play this game dilemma and she may have put her foot in her mouth but I think she going to carry the group because Shauna might go to jail in order to help ole boy get less time but might not. This is so good!!!❤❤

Granted, I agree that Mia is being really reckless, but I didn't like the fact that Lamont tried to play her about the tactics she used to make progress. He wasn't complaining when she hooked him up with Courtney like he asked her to. If he knew it was in her "bloodline," then he must have known that there was a possibility she would use those means to get him what he wanted. Sounds hypocritical to me - that I should do what I can to help you but not to help myself...

Nah, Shawna told Mia she needed to dead the Maurice situation now that she knows he's trying to take her down. The whole exchange with him was her trying to subtly suggest to him not to give her up. Her last resort was to pull the music card because he was still hesitant and not willing to turn on Stanley when she suggested it. He seemed like he accepted her offer to do the time alone. But I think it's a setup for the finale. He will sell her out for reduced time.

I love Chasity so much and am so happy she is getting the light that she deserves from being in the dark from so long however I do think because of that, love / relationships / affection is probably so foreign to her she still “playing the game” whatever it takes to be the girls man-a-geerrrr (a La Jessie) I think she’s gonna do. I am hoping that things work out cause I love this for her !

Courtney is messy. He knew what he was doing, the whole time he was shifty while working with Lamont. He set Mia up to play in Lamont's face and she fell for it. Lamont was wrong for that low blow. He clocked what Courtney did and got mad at her. But the law blow was uncalled for, he can't police her sexuality. It should have ended at him not wanting to work with her anymore.

Courtney asked her up front about the status of her relationship with Lamont, and she said she was single. Maybe you're right about it being a setup, but I feel like he was more so checking if she was being honest about her and Lamont not being together 🤷🏾‍♀️

But instead, he was shifty while Lamont was alone getting hyped over his music while he was plotting. It was more of a guy flex thing, sonning him coz he 'took' his woman, setting up the hierarchy in their work relationship coz Lamont was acting like they are equals. A man's ego is a different beast.

@jaanders1983 no, I beg to differ. He didn't have to do anything. Mia told him what the situation was with Lamont when he asked her. Also, Mia came to the studio and immediately gave him attention, sat next to him etc. Lamont was the only one blindsided in this, and Courtney didn't have to do that to him. If Courtney was mad at Mia he could have left her it at ghosting her. See, he was playing games for what?
