I did worry about that wee dog racing after the cart! Obviously the film was speeded up but while telling myself, it's on high speed, I still worried!!
Michael, have you tried bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar. It cleans ovens and basically anything. And, just paste it on, go have a cup of tea, then just wash it off. You are welcome. Xx
He managed to work the phrase in on the last video too! Im going to br looking for him to slide it in on all the future ones too! It's a challenge, Michael!!
Michael, when I first started watching your videos I use to think " what am I going to do when Michael stops videoing? I found out when you stopped videoing for a while and I didn't like it. Thank you so much Micheal for coming back much love and respect from Texas
Michael - what a lovely surprise to open up RU-vid and see another video from you! Such a joy! Not only is your content intriguing but it’s amplified by your tremendous skills as a videographer!
Michael you have such an adorable personality! I enjoy watching you no matter what you’re doing. I especially enjoy when you’re being silly and having fun.
We watched your brother tile a floor for two weeks, of course we want to watch you paint. It not just the task, it is the task with music. It is very relaxing (for us).
It’s really great to see you back in action! The tiles look amazing. Is the window beading a different wood than the windows? Or is it “silvered” from aging/chemical treatment?
What a difference between before and after on the wall tiles. You are a hard worker. Absolutely love your videos. So glad you started up again. Carry on…….. 🎉🎉❤
Michael, you could add brass sheets at the bottom of your door, which would cover the damage and keep moisture off the bottom so the damage wouldn't continue. It would also add a bit of class. Great find - to have the original door!
That’s a great idea!!! This is why I love reading the comments. Thank you, that will save so much work as both doors are damaged at the bottom. Plus it will look really classy.
I love the fact that you are repairing and renovating the tiles Michael. It’s always great to see historic houses showing their true age and the chateau kitchen will look superb. Sadie’s golf cart saga was hilarious! 😂
It is a very, exciting, interesting, and important project for the château that you, along with the accasional help from Billy's team, are getting on with restoring the original château kitchen! I know it will be beautiful! However, it is also fascinating learning how to cope with the gunk, carbon, calcium deposits, etc, etc, that reaked havoc on this absolute historical treasure for so many years neglect! I can't wait to see how you continue step by step, bringing her beauty, and function completely back to life! I love your skills, creativity, humor, connectivity, and, importantly, your choice of music! I loved Sady's hilarious raucous golf cart ride to chitty-chitty bang-bang... especially ending up in the bushes. I'm so glad Bertie didn't get run over! ❤🎉❤🎉😂🤣
Omg Micheal you are hilarious. I loved your fun way of dealing with the negative comments. I watch both shows and I can see you and Billy are very hard working people. Keep up the good work.
Michael is so good to see you back with your videos again. It was great seeing you on Billy’s channel but it’s really good that you’re back doing your own thing. God bless😊
I don’t think you really understand how much you “bring” Michael. My husband and I have followed you from the start and you basically had us at hello🙌🏻 Until 6 months ago when my husband was knocked down by GBS we were full on doing it ourselves people too. Today was the first time in a long time we laughed out loud and just wanted you to know that you have a wonderful gift that definitely lifts the spirits. Thank you so much for sharing 🩷💞🫠🥂
I loved you taking the ‘piss’ in the loveliest sort of way. You made my day. I have had one of the biggest laughs ever. Carry on you’re doing a fabulous job. Keep the sarky bits coming too please. I’m an 80 yr old that can’t get out much these days so your company is appreciated so much. ❤Sadie’s participation was spot on too.
What a great video! I love that you're working on keeping the original tiles. I know that you'll figure it out. Just love the "Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang" segment! Sadie did a great job! I was laughing out loud!
Such a brilliant pieced together video. Interesting, humorous and explanatory. Exploring all routes, with restoring the tiles, keeps your options open. Brilliant 🤩
Love your sense of humor!! You are such a joy to watch Please keep the videos coming. Yes we do like to watch you paint. I personally like to watch you do anything you. I'm 75 and you bring me such joy, Michael. thank you from Florida
Absolutely loved this video! Michael, you are such a treasure with your talent and delightful sense of humor! Keep up the great work, we are all rooting for you!
Lovely to see that you read what your subscribers write , and give them what they wish for. 😊. It is absolutely wonderful , that you’ve been able to restore the chateau’s original kitchen and to use it again🎉
I just sanded and Osmo'ed my dining room table just like you showed/told us when you did the floors upstairs. It now looks better than when I bought it 10 years ago. Thank you for the good advice and motivation I get from watching you work your magic, Michael. ❤
Was hoping Osmo Paint Company would sponsor Michael and Billy's channels! I can't wait to order some of their products on my unfinished kitchen cabinets!
What fun you must have had putting your Spode treasures into the cupboard for safe keeping! Oh Michael, I never doubted you were painting! Your cheeky humor is so endearing! The original door will be fantastic! Great job cleaning the tiles…hard work, but worth it! Sarah on the golf cart was priceless!! Love from Pennsylvania, USA 💕🌷🐻
@@chad328-ez2lv- One of the early Chateau Diaries episodes she was making bath bombs and got the idea to fill them with tiny rubber ducks. Michael was “helping,” but never could get the dang thing to stay inside the bath bomb powder. 😂 It might have been a Christmas stocking stuffer… can’t quite recall. But it was hilarious. 😅
What a cracking video. We get Spode, dressers, painting, chitty chitty bang bang, tile cleaning and tile restoration info. Singing, dancing and some jolly good fun. With "hands that do dishes, are as soft as your skin, mild green - Fairy Liquid" known to clean all sorts of grime, including red diesel and a century of chateau dust!! You are a treat and a half Michael. Can't wait for the tile moulding and high jinks with enamel paint! 😂
Your techniques of how you paint, how much paint on brushes really showed your craftmanship and with care to details. There are SO many kind of brushes to use!!!!!! Thank you for letting us watch you paint, it's soothing and addictive lol!
Michael, your videos were the first ones I watched, and I had forgotten how great it is to see you working on the chateau. The skit of Sadie in the golf car to the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang music was hilarious, so much fun! It is good having you back and working on the kitchen, which was your passion to restore 'one day'. Having that day here is wonderful. Thank you, keep the videos coming, we truly do love you.
I Absolutely loved this video with the Sadie skit and you making jokes - you are definitely back to your old self Michael and it’s amazing to see. I think I speak for everyone when I say we all adore you, and miss you when you don’t post videos. You’re a hugely talented person who brings a ray of sunshine to our TV screens ❤ keep going and keep doing it yourself because I’m loving these videos and so pleased that you are back. Love from Claire in the UK 🇬🇧
Oh my goodness.....I couldn't stop laughing....you have such a wonderful sense of humour....thank you Sadie and Micheal...well done!!! LOL!!! The tiles will be amazing Michael and like the idea of you doing DIY your own tiles!!
I love your videos Michael. I am always happy when I see you’ve uploaded one. You and Billy are such nice guys, hard working, skilled and dedicated to your cause. I’m sure your mum and dad are very very proud of you. X
Opening with the French countryside soothes my heart, Michael. We live in semi-arid Southern California. Has its own beauty, in shades of brown & grey with giant reddish boulders of every shape & size. Had a few months of green, very little left. Golf Cart Caper!! Comic gold!! I am older than the hills, & the sense of fun with you & your team is delightful. I have binge read so many novels, some historical novels, set in the UK & neighbors, that even I have heard of Fairy Liquid! ❤❤❤❤❤ to you all.
Oh my gosh, your videos are so brilliant. Keep up with this type of videos. I enjoy this serious talk plus the funny talk with everything going on in the world. It’s a fresh breath air.🥰
The old Michael that I first met and fell in love with at Chateau de Laland has returned! Exact, right down to that naughty twinkle in his beautiful baby blues! Oh how I have missed him! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a fun video!! Michael, you’ve outdone yourself! It’s a joy to watch you in action. And the bit with Sadie on the cart was hysterical!! Well done! Oh, and the tiles look awesome. I’m sure I’ll watch this video several times.
Michael I am thrilled you're back doing your most interesting videos....your drive, your talent mixed with humour spot on!!! I loved the bit where Sadie was dealing with the golf cart....lots of fun. I love your music choices too!
I 💕just 💕love 💕you 💕to 💕 bits 💕 and 💕 bits, 💕 Sadie!! Michael, you did a fantastic job with the tiles, and I agree that you should just try to do it yourself. It will be more fun for us and more meaningful for the chateau restoration journey. Well done, Sir!😘💌💕
I adore your spirit, and Sadie is hilarious too. 😂 ice always loved your way of teaching and your entertaining perspective. You crack me up. Please use extra caution when using hydrochloric acid and bleach together. You can create chlorine gas, and it is deadly. I am so glad you are using a respirator, but please, please, please don't combine those chemicals. It could really be disastrous 😢 I would hate for anything to happen to you or anyone in the home. Thank you for keeping all the outtakes in, it shows your perfect imperfections and helps us keep it real knowing when we have a goof up we are not alone. Thank you so much for doing it yourself. (I'm sure I have never said this, but your channel is the first, of the many chateau channels, I watched. Back when your nephews were tiny babies. I'm so glad you introduced me to this world of chatelines and France. It got me through those dark days of covid and have been so entertaining and real. I so appreciate all of your hard work -I know we don't see the half of all your efforts)❤
Michael - Loving your content, the creative DIY and especially your brand of humor is delightful, chuckling loudly 😂😂😂. Sadie’s hilarious skit also had me bursting with laughter. 😂😂😂 Thank you for sharing and shining sunshine into my day. Hugs xx 💛🙏🏼💛
I don't mind watching you paint. You never know when a little advice or technique will help. I've always painted walls with a roller. You said it's better with a brush so I painted my office with a brush. Turned out beautiful and so much easier on hands and arms. Thank you.
True Michael, It is always agreeable to watch someone who is doing good work! its relaxing and feels almost as if we did it Ourselfs! ; )). Hilarious 'intermezzo' with Sadie. Loved-it!
LOVE the floor tiles as well, can't wait to see them polished...and your sense of humor, a bit of tongue in cheek, but typically English and fun...nice bit of driving Sadie, glad you didn't run over the dog...lol...!
@sueregan2782 : Oh, don't be stupid! I know they wouldn't let anything happen to one of their animals. It just looked like the dog was going to get run over in the erratic romp!
Michael, I am so happy you are back with your videos. I love your wacky humor and excellent style. This kitchen is going to be amazing and what a great job on the terrace. Please keep us up to date when you get your greenhouse completed.
Absolute!y the most fun I've had today! If you ever stop renovating there is a job waiting for you as a stand up comedian. What a wonderfully unique way of delivering content. Who said that scrubbing a wall wasn't fun. You're a regular Tom Sawyer!
I really enjoyed seeing you paint the window and seeing it come together. I laughed so hard at Sadie losing control of the golf cart . Cleaning the tiles seemed to come together with soap and water, all I know is when your done they will be perfect. Im so glad your back.
What a fantastic video! I was belly laughing at the golf cart segment! Those tiles are looking fantastic too!! Thanks Michael for another amazing vlog!! Great camera work too!
Love your videos Michael. A combination of fun, sarcasm and serious work. I live that you are embracing the outtakes and making them part of the video as it shows your personality more. I hope that will help you to keep creating as I know how much your perfectionism has crippled your creativity in the past. I said it in the beginning and I’ll say it louder now. Best you tuber. Most authentic and charismatic.
You always make me laugh, Michael. I know you are doing well when you see the funny side of things, and then pass that on to us. Sadie's clip was funny. Your outtakes are funny. Thank you for cheering all 21 k of us up. Cheers! 🍻
Regarding watching you paint? It is just satisfying to watch. Taking something so plain, covering it up with paint and voila! We just like watching you Michael, your sense of humor..”this is so sexy to watch.” Made me smile. So happy you are going to save the original door.
Oh my gosh, Michael. This was the funniest video I’ve watched in a long, long while. Your sense of humor shone through👏🏻. And those pokes at Billy and Sadie were priceless😂
