Another great review. I also recognise that I tend to judge wines which comes from a famous area or producer more harshly, as my expectations are higher.
Henri: I am like that as well. I think my ratings of Trophy Wines are slightly low and my ratings of some value wines is slightly high because of expectations. So when I am over the moon about a Trophy Wine, you know is must be great. Cheers!
Keep up the hunt for underrated wineries. As I’m sure you know, it’s extremely satisfying when you find one. For me, I’m actually exploring Spatburgunders looking for underrated Pinot’s.
grigorhaig: under my expectations but then I changed and thought, is my expectation unrealistic. After all, how can I expect a wine at this price to rival Petrus. Cheers!
Garrett: thank you for viewing my video and your comment. Also, great wines in the lesser vintages are also great given now, with technology, there are really no more bad vintages in Bordeaux. Please like, subscribe and keep watching. Cheers!
michael0811: I thought so at first but unless all the Americans are incorrect, I think it is Mo ex. Cheers!
I asked a few French friends from either France or Quebec, and there were a number of different results. I'm glad I don't have to speak French on a daily basis. lol
