Amaury definitely seems a bit burned out and I am noticing that it does seem like something is bugging him....I think you are absolutely correct that Steph needs to get him a full time helper, one who is skilled and will truly be in a good position to assist him. I have kinda been feeling sorry for him for quite some time now.

@Marie Hoffman Nick is a consultant, not an employee. He decides if he has an assistant. Amaury doesn't have a complete workshop set up right now, so his main job is on hold. As soon as the heating system is competely in and tested then all that insulation can go back in the ceiling and the stables can become his workshop. ❤❤

Kevin the handyman is there now also. As soon as the heating system is completely installed, Amaury can get the insulation out of the stables and his workshop in there. The insulation is going back in the ceiling of the back hallway. ❤😂😂😂

Amaury’s a blessing and such a hard worker. I know he had to relocate his workshop and know he’ll put it in order as he did the first time. He has a lot going on at the château so it’s very good that he and Nati have a home now away from those château to get away totally. He def needs a bit of down time. I love Amaury and Natalia together, very sweet together. Nick is an awesome tree man, nice to have a name for his assistant. Love Cameron’s excitement over the cranes and falcons . In 2014 I visited my brother in Florida and we went night fishing for shrimp, the frogs were so loud and amazing in a start night in the midst of almost no other sounds . Well put Amary is very particular and so is the new plaster and that is something he will always be and ,maybe it's not until burn out happens that rhey realise something needs to change, hence they found a home away from the chateau eat Stefanie and Phillip also work long long hrs so change maybe except at times like setting up for the the new season of b and b there scedual can change. Iam thinking it is tough on many people and some times things have to change. All the best to t hem all and I trust they can all find a balance that work's for them xx

I use to do this when l was young and all on my own when the children were a sleep, only my dog watching me and keeping me company. That was something my father taught me, and l love it. Idaho's famous potatoes inspired an ice cream dessert sold at their county and state fairs! It looks like a baked potato loaded with butter and sour cream on top, but it's really an ice cream shaped potato rolled in cocoa powder for skin wirh whipped cream on top! It was very fun to see another quirky dessert idea like it! 🎉

No matter how old you are when your parents pass, you feel like an orphan. It takes time to adjust. I still want to call my mom, it's been 13 years since she passed. Love and hugs your way. It’s so funny when my dad passed I cried and cried and I was in such a deep depression, I am an only child and very close to my parents, I mean they lived across the street from me. Now with my mom‘s passing which I thought I would be even worse with the crying ( of course I am still crying) instead I am feeling disconnected and out of sorts if that makes any sense. I am usually a quite loud, loving person and instead I have been in my own head and like I said looking for that comfort, it’s just been different. I do thank you for all of your wonderful words and please have a beautiful weekend.

6:19- a trick i learned from my 1st graphic design teacher: measure the width of the mushroom decor line. It = 100% Measure the vertical width of the woodwork & spread the 100% across that width in a tint of cream or swan white or the match of the ground [color suggestions mine, not Elaine's specifically. :) ❤].

Dear Ms Jarvis, I too have peafowl. My peacock's name is Gainsborough - for obvious reasons - we just call him Ro for short though and my peahen's name is Rani. Mine also roam freely around. Gainsborough, is rather tame, and allows me to stroke him, especially when I offer blueberries from my hands.

Nati. Hard boiled eggs.Put eggs in a pan, cover with water. Bring to a boil. When the boil starts, take the eggs off the fire but still keep in the boiled water. Set a timer for 10-11 minutes depending on how hard you want the eggs. You're done. No guessing.

Late night decorating often leads to accidents or bickering. Im glad that neither seems to have happened. Its lovely paper, the drapes and table skirt now clash, but your stash can handle it. Or another trip to Emmaeus. The woods are truly seeing magic under Nicks watch, and the work planting new bulbs for wilding has surely paid off. I too delight in the frog chorus near my house. Its Autumn now so they are quiet. Its morning birdsong now. At least four species all nattering. Australia, all animals all the time.

The Martha Stewart method for hard boiled eggs works every time. You put enough water to come up about half way on the egg. As soon as the water starts boiling, put a lid on it, and turn off the heat, but leave it on the burner. Set a timer for 16 minutes. They won't have that green look from cooking them too long.
