im the exact same way when im forced to speak in my classes, & had a conference assessment. best advice is to just remind yourself before entering the class you know what you’re talking about, when you freeze up or start feeling nervous take a deep breath in and take an extra breath before breathing out - it reduces feeling stressed/anxious SO much. over preparing with cue cards also helped me because i could at least have a good memory of the content. i know its easier said than done but try and put it in your mind as its just a conversation & you arent being marked, putting additional pressure on yourself about grades etc will make you freeze for sure 🩷 u will be fine !!

Hi Eva, if you’re still needing film recommendations for Orpheus-Eurydice depictions here are some: Outward Bound - really great back and white film, it fits perfectly into the mythical archetype What Dreams May Come - honestly not sure if it’s the best choice for a university film class, however it stars Robin Williams. Very nuanced, a lot to draw upon. Always - just love this one. It stars Audrey Hepburn. The visuals and performances are lovely.
