The thing about Chatsworth is that the very fabric of the building, from floor to ceiling, is so resoundingly striking that it rather swamps most of the seasonal displays through its sheer grandeur. Above all, the most enjoyable part is freely walking through the extensive garden where you can get away from the well oiled commercial enterprise which the estate has had to become to survive.

I agree with you that this display was a bit less than spectacular. The good news is that Chatsworth's 'everyday' decor IS spectacular and shows to good advantage here.

Thanks for taking us through Chatsworth House for this year’s Christmas display. It’s our favorite Country Estate and we last visited from Chicago in 2021 for their Magic of Christmas which highlighted the Best of the last 20 years of decorations. It was spectacular and the outdoor lighting installations were gorgeous too! We were just in London and always enjoy the beautiful city lights and the Kew Gardens Christmas walk at night. Lovely! I've never been to Chatsworth but hope to visit "someday". May I suggest a change of music track? That shrill whistling that comes on now and then is so grating on the ears! I find myself skipping ahead whenever it starts.

Music is fine by me - in fact it's very suitable. I normally don't like shrill music, but it's fine.

@@theslowtravelsfamily The whistling occurs sporadically during the music, which I otherwise enjoy. The first occurrence in this video is at 2:24. It may not bother others, of course... but I find it an annoying interruption in your otherwise lovely videos. Sorry!

Wow! Love Pride and Prejudice! Saw the movie with Kira Knightly! S.urchin a beautiful estate inside and out! Love the classic Christmas decorations! My favorite so far! The garden, fountains, and even parts of the inside do remind me of Versailles. Wonderful tour! Thank you!❤

Please stop using the four minutes of music with the whistling. Otherwise, great job and enjoy your videos. Some people, like my husband, who have survived a brain aneurysm have issues with the high pitch musical whistling.

Thanks again Stacy for another great video, it's nice to see Chatsworth again. I thought the displays were nice and not too over the top.The decorated ceilings are beautiful so it didnt distract too much from that.
